Or perhaps you fellas need to explain why you believe Jesus intended physical swords when in context He was speaking about the gospel and His impending death. Compare what He was referring back to in Luke 22 where He was quoting Himself from the entire context of Matthew 10:9,10. Note particularly Matthew 10:34. Tell me, and remember this is in the same context of Like 22, is that a literal physical sword Jesus is referring to that was going to create a conflict between daughter and mother? Son and father? Note also that Jesus said, think not that I am come to send peace, but a sword, for I am come to set at variance etc.
Jesus is not here saying that the sword is for maintaining peace and defending yourselves as you are claiming.... He is saying the sword is to divide. Just like Paul said to Timothy... Soul, Spirit, bone, marrow.
In Luke 22:37, Jesus is referring to His death and in context with the other passages such as John 20:21 and Luke 10:3. He is taking about dividing the world with truth as his disciples share the good news of the gospel.
Jesus is not saying take up a physical sword then later warning that one who does such a thing will die from it.

Was it a non-physical sword that Peter used to lop the ear off the temple guard when in the garden of Gethsemane? John 18:10 reports Peter cutting the ear off the temple guard. That's a very dexterous move with a sword by the way. Not a move that can be made by a novice swordsman.
The verse where Jesus told his Apostles to buy a sword appears in Luke 22:36

He is the prince of peace but he is no push over, Guns are evil man, its the devils work lol and i never said you cant defend yourself, i never said Jesus said that, a sword is much better than a gun, at least you have a chance at defending yourself with a sword, a gun on the other hand can take you down from over a mile away.

Yes, I know snipers that can very easily make that shot.
If you don't have a sword or a gun, how do you defend yourself against someone who has one or the other? Or even both? A gun as backup, for instance.

And a gun can take you down standing face to face. It is easier to harm yourself with a sword if you have but that for self defense, if you're fighting someone who is highly skilled at sword play.
It is also easy to hurt yourself with a gun. The point being, training, safety, and skill. No substitute for gun safety. No substitute for firearms training.

It seems to me that we first have to see the Military arrest the Fraudulent Election Conspirators and conduct Military Tribunals, and restore Trump & Pence to the Whitehouse so that they can subsequently be murdered in the streets (Rev. 11). And somewhere along this path we should see a war in the Middle East (the battle of Armageddon). Then we should expect the Dems (satan) to conduct a nation-wide enforcement of the Mark of the Beast, and finally -- Global Thermonuclear War.

And then Jesus Returns!
