Why not Christ

It intrigues me how on a christian forum there seems to be so little love for Christ.

I did a topic few months ago for those who love Christ, came and went in the blink of an eye, I guess we know where mens hearts are, Jesus certainly does, than yesterday another about Jesus . 4 posts, and one was just one showing His heart, not to come and love Jesus and glorify but to bring offense,

All I see is smart men thinking they are smarter than God, the SDA catholics and JWS tying to outdo one another in doctrine yet all claiming they are the right church, and division ,ye no one cares for that, christianity is so divided but not to be discussed, you laugh, but its your life thats at stake, if you are not in Him when He comes, like Noah was in that ark, you will be left out, and being in church or studying keeping the law (ye right), will not get you in.

Luk_13:25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:

your choice, your doing and being here makes you without excuse. No one to blame but your selves, not your leaders pastors churches friends just you.

I love Jesus enough to have steered clear of this website until recently, like a fart in an elevator. Staying on a website like this going back and forth into eternity is not good for your health.

Nah, you need to get out more dude, from amongst this....place. The world of Bible believers is a lot bigger than what this website would lead you to believe. I would have never learned about my true history staying here. It only made my faith in God even more rock solid.

You chastise and blame others for not knowing Jesus yet for all your talk of Christ you never share him so that folk can see him for who he is. What they see from all your many words is how right you think you are and how wrong others are. There is no incentive and no encouragement in that.....none, zero, zilch.....and how many times has this been brought to your attention only to be rebuffed with your repeated condemnation.

You chastise and blame others for not knowing Jesus yet for all your talk of Christ you never share him so that folk can see him for who he is. What they see from all your many words is how right you think you are and how wrong others are. There is no incentive and no encouragement in that.....none, zero, zilch.....and how many times has this been brought to your attention only to be rebuffed with your repeated condemnation.

And all you do is get angry and promote your religion, just as all the religious do. You could have Christ but so few desire Him, your prefer you religion, He is supposed to be your Husband, He is supposed to be your first Love, he is the one you are supposed to desire to spend all your time with, but you prefer a harlot your religion to your betrothed, for how long do you think he will knock on that door, how long would you knock on the door of you home while your bride ignores you. Hes being patient but now time is running out.

You cannot deliver Jesus because you do not have Jesus to deliver.

The Title of the thread is a question: Why not Christ? The Samaritan woman was worse than a dog to the Jews, the people of the southern part of Israel.

The disciples, who were Jews, traveling with Jesus all of the time could not understand and were unable to even ask the right question, much less answer it. Why not Christ?

People today have the written scriptures and similarly are often unable to ask, much less answer, the same question. Why not Christ?

This woman, worse than a dog, not an Israelite nor Gentile, but a mixture despised by the Jews suspected the real identity of Jesus... stepped out in a very little faith and he confirmed it for her!

The first two who had so much are blind, whereas the one who really seemed to be almost hopeless was able to see! Why not Christ?

Why are people who should be able to see so blind?

I just saw the irony that the woman recognized Jesus as Christ

You my friend do not understand @mjrhealth at all if you believe that. I have known him for a long time and I have no doubt that he recognizes Jesus. Is is a shame @pia is no longer with us to interpret some of these things for us. She was one of those very good ones driven away from here.

Sometimes we can see something from God clearly in our hearts, but our mouth is unable share the picture so that everyone else can see. But God also has provided interpreters.

See how things get twisted, not ever once Have i said that Jesus wasnt in fact if you read any of my posts I have always said He is, and that is not the issue in contention, but it is funny every time i bring up Jesus, contention arises. You will be surprised how many dont know Him, the very reason why He has to send men out to the high ways and by ways at His wedding feast, because those He called wouldnt come

What happened to Jesus is that at the end when he was taken and had to walk up that hill to what men had prepared for him, all of those disciples, his very closest followers, ran away, frightened for their own carnal lives.

But now today do we run away into a church house or into a book, even the best of church houses or the best of books?
