Actually, I didn't have the mRNA vaccine. Not that it would bother me if I did.

Not sure if you got the adenovirus vaccine then. If so, it is virtually the same mechanism except that it is a DNA virus that hijacks your cells, is converted to mRNA, and then the spike protein is made in a similar fashion. Same concept.

My only advice to anyone is this, before you get a shot, Go FIRST, to God in Prayer. and then go to one's Doctor, and make sure if any allergies or health concerns are checked out first. but as said, it's each of us own desision.

as for me, when I'm told I can take the vaccine, I will. not just for me, but also for my fellow citizen.

I took the first dose this past Monday. I am awaiting the second one. For anyone with doubts two places in scripture came to my mind. One is when Paul was bitten by a poisonous viper [Acts 28:3] and showed no ill effects whatsoever. The other one is here:

"And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." Mark 16:17-18

Unfortunately, too many people insist that their own determined way, must be everyone else's way. God cannot be put into a box like that... but they keep wanting to do it.

We are not to tempt the Lord by forging ahead of Him, but we also must step out in faith as He directs us.

My wife has been told definitely by two doctors [specialists who know her condition well] not to take either of the first two vaccines to hit Oklahoma because of her breathing problems, her allergies to a great many medications and her severely compromised immune system. Her age is also a factor. She is more vulnerable than anyone else I know. We will wait and see for her. Too many people it seems to me could care less about people like her... A very selfish attitude altogether too common in people labeling themselves as Christians!

Keep her in prayer please.

A lot of people think it might end up as something we need a booster for every year, but at the moment it's just speculation.

Many of these detractors are just obnoxious in their beliefs...

It's bad enough that they don't want to be vaccinated but they want to shame and prevent anyone else from getting it too.

You know I love you so don't take this the wrong way or anything, but how do we know that this is truth, or something that the media is just trying to scare us with? Most people haven't even gotten vaccines yet so how the heck are there so many horror stories about all the side effects? I've only seen one video of somebody claiming that they had side effects from the shot and even that I can't really say is authentic or not. I'm not calling anybody a liar, I'm just going by a bunch of heresy claims over the internet. That's why I'm waiting for people I actually know to get a vaccine and then watch to see how they react to it by the second dosage.
