Yeah I get a lot of visions that need interpretations. They are clearly visions and they are always in God's code language.

I don't know God's got pretty good encryption technology, but you can give it a try :)

This is an interesting idea.

What biblical precedent are you going by... Joseph, Daniel, etc...?

Have you heard of the Bible codes? Chuck Missler did a lot on it. I'm studying Hebrew right now too--each character represents something concrete, and they have numeric value too!

See I want to understand the code yall are talking. LOL. God working is amazing. Like the story you shared Devin? Id love a thread on things like people being raised from the dead today without debate on it being real or not.

Or questions on tongues as a prayer language. Like how to pray most effectively with them.

How to best interpret dreams without it being called soothsaying.

Helping people with dreams who believe in them. How to distinguish if dreams are from God.

I mean, the ones who want to debate it being real today can have a safe haven box to do that, and us believers can just talk freely about it in Bible study/spirituality, wherever. Lol.

But was thinking/praying about things today and thought I would say something about it

Yeah I looked into the forum for @FluffyYellowDuck's post on her dream and there wasn't anything about not debating. They have that on other forums. So I agree, there should be rules to not allow debates when someone shares a spiritual experience or gift of the spirit. It always gets tense. Some of the doubters come across as atheist or something.

On CF, there is this tiny little box in the whole forum called signs gifts. People still try to debate there. LOL. So maybe not a safe haven, since certain sections should be a safe haven from debate anyways. There is a place for that. I just see friends leave/take breaks because things turn ugly. So it has just irritated me more lately to think about what is going on. Debate was the first thing on my mind. Arguementive spirit.

But as far as the topics I named, this would be cool to have a specific sub to talk about.

If you make a specific OP and can handle initial disagreement without being dragged down a tangent argument, the rules could be employed against those trying to hijack the thread and send it in another direction.

The key is not getting dragged into those side arguements, which makes the thread chaotic. Out of fairness I'll not silence someone's direct response, effectively giving someone a soapbox.

So let things slide, or say your not discussing it here, or something to that effect. But don't try to "for example" disprove cessationism, because you open the door.

As much as I like the idea regarding this particular subject, I think going down the road to forum segregation may not be the best idea, at least not site wide. Once "the door" was opened for segregation there, there'd be no stopping numerous others from wanting their own safe zones... and I'm not sure we need safe zones for everything under the sun. People should be able to question what is being said and taught.

@Mayflower, @Devin Wintch, @Willsmith00. Sorry for dampening the enthusiasm, guys, but segregation has its down sides as well.
