Thanks to everyone for the posts. Everyone seems to be interpreting the scriptures a little differently. When we are in Heaven everyone will KNOW what is going on. I think I will believe that Jesus died for my sins and not worry about anything else except trying to do what God wants me to do...

Can the ones dead (in Jesus, in Heaven) see what is going on here on earth and can they communicate with thier loved ones? I don't think so but I also don't think it says anywhere in the Bible for sure. I wouldn't think God would allow them to see all the sin that goes on.

I know from the rich man / Lazarus story that those in hell can not communicate with the earthly living. What about the saints in Heaven? I would think probably not but I would like to know where in the Bible it says they can't.

Is it not a sin to say "oh my god!"? This little phrase seems to be used a lot but seems to me like using God's name in vain.

There has been many intelligent thoughts on this. My dad would become violent and hateful after drinking too much. This type of person should never drink much alcohol if any ever. I should have stated earlier I limit myself to 4 glasses at a time but that is only 1-3 days per week.
