Mathew 11;21-24
Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you.
And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.

Is there anyone on this board can tell me why it will be more tolerable on judgement day for the muslim cities outside Israel than for the cities in Israel?
Why will it be more tolerable for the Lebaneese than for the Israeli on judgement day?
Is there any children of God on this board who God has revealed this too besides me?

Mathew 11;25
At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.

I think the verses you gave answer the question quite nicely.

[sup]LUKE 21[/sup]

[sup]20 [/sup]And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
[sup]21 [/sup]Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
[sup]22 [/sup]For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
[sup]23 [/sup]But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.

The word of God says in the days of vengeance when all things are fulfilled that there shall be great wrath upon the Israelis.
And Jesus gives instruction to the people outside of Israel to stay out .

Does anyone know what abominations do the Israelis commit that the muslims outside of Israel do not?
Why would God's wrath be upon the Israelis in the time of judgement and not upon the Inhabitants of Tyre and Sidon?

Has God revealed the answers to these questions to anyone on this board beside myself?

God's judgment at times will be more severe for Israel during the time of Jacob's trouble but fear not, the rest of the world will experience judgment and wrath as well. To think that all God's wrath and judgment is reserved for Israel alone is foolishness.

[sup]14 [/sup]For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews:
[sup]15 [/sup]Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:
[sup]16 [/sup]Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.

Why will God's vengeance be more severe for Israel trek.
The question is why.

Gods not going pour out his wrath upon the people of Israel without a cause.
What do they do to deserve such punishment above all others?
Keepm in mind.Jesus is warning his folowers not to enter Israel during the time of God's vengeancem in Luke21.

You would think with so many experts of Israel on this board ,someone would know why God's wrath in the days of his venegance is upon the Israelis .The scripture speak plainly as to why.But even though the reasons why are written for all to see the experts eyes are shut and these things are not revelaed to them.

Mathew 11;25

Still no answer.

As I said in my first post, the answers lie in the verses you gave.

Verse 20 gives the context of why Jesus said it.....

[sup]20 [/sup]Then Jesus began to denounce the towns in which most of his miracles had been performed, because they did not repent.

Those towns (Chorazin, Bethsaida) had seen the miracles firsthand ... as compared to Sodom & Tyre (who did not) .... and the point is about the severity of judgment , not a comparison between Islam and Israel punishments.

The punishment for the Muslim cities will be plenty nasty.

However your question does make a person stop and think for a minute shilohsfoal . Thanks.

Another thought just came to mind ..... we modern day Christian believers have not witnesses Jesus' miracles firsthand .... yet we believe .... that should go in our favor on judgement day.

you also asked

just a guess on my part .... nothing more ..... but could it be because the Israelis are "Chosen people" and Muslims are not .... Israel really has no excuse .... thus the more severe punishments .... ??

just some thoughts. I could be way off base.

No your not way off base. You are all over the answer.
And Im so glad you stoped to think about it because no one else seems to ask the question why.

I will show you the answer and most likely you wont want to except it.But I hope it makes you think and search the scripture to find out if im telling you the truth or not.

The reason is two fold.First,Israel ,is home of the beast. And the people who dwell there worrship the beast.
Revelation 14;9
And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

The second reason is Jesus choses to send to Israel saints to preach to those who worship the beast that they should repent, but those saints are killed by those who worship the beast.

Mathew 23;34
Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:

Like I said. You may not want to believe me.But I want you to search the scripture in a effort to prove me right or wrong in your eyes.
Not using another persons interpretation of scripture ,but with the scripture itself.

As I said in my first post, the answers lie in the verses you gave.

Yes they dont repent.
But the muslim in Sidon dosnt repent also.
Some things happen in the borders of Israel before judgement day that doesnt happen in the borders of Lebenon. But do you know what takes place in Israel that doesnt take place in Lebanon?

They are not sent to Lebanon to preach the gospel. They are sent to the Israelis.

Mathew 10;23
But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.

I've had enough. You want to know why I haven't responded 'til now?! It's because of the CRAZY way that you ABUSE the Scriptures! I'm tired of it!!! They're the rantings of a MANIAC!!! Furthermore, when one tries to point out to you the simple truth behind something that should have been obvious to you, you reject any disagreement out of hand without giving it a moment's consideration! So, what's the POINT?! WHY TRY?!! And yet, here I am, trying again. Maybe there's a touch of craziness in me, too!

Like right here in Matthew 10:23. Would it matter to you if I said that you're wrong to use this verse about the future coming of the Son of man because it was about His ministry the first time He was here, before He went to the cross? LOOK AT THE FULL CONTEXTS OF WHAT YOU'RE TRYING TO ARGUE!!!

Matthew 10:1-11:30
10:1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
2 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;
3 Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;
4 Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying,
Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
9 Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,
10 Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.
11 And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, inquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.
12 And when ye come into an house, salute it.
13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.
14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
18 And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.
19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.
20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.
21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.
24 The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.
28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
40 He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
41 He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.
42 And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.

11:1 And it came to pass, when Jesus had made an end of commanding his twelve disciples, he departed thence to teach and to preach in their cities.
2 Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples,
3 And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?
4 Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see:
5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.
6 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.
7 And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John,
What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?
8 But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings' houses.
9 But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet.
10 For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.
14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.
15 He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
16 But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows,
17 And saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented.
18 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil.
19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.

20 Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not:
21 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
22 But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you.
23 And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.
24 But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.

25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.
26 Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.
27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

KJV

So, can you really see what's going on here in these chapters? He has just given His disciples, His students, power to cast out demons and to heal all sorts of sickness and diseases, and then He sent them out to the towns of ISRA'EL, not to the Samaritans nor to the Gentiles. They are to announce His coming to their towns and villages and to demonstrate God's power as authentication of their message! He promises them that won't have gone through all the towns and villages of Isra'el before He arrives in those towns and villages right behind them! THAT'S what He meant in verse 23! He meant He would be catching up to them all too quickly! Verse 1 of the next chapter tells us that He gave them a head-start by going to their own towns first and starting there after they headed out. Then, He mourns for the towns that thought they "knew Him too well" because they couldn't put their trust in Him.

This chapter took place in the life of the Messiah BEFORE He was rejected, BEFORE He was crucified! The "coming of the Son of man" in this case, is NOT in the future; it was a time DURING Yeshua`s lifetime, after He was 30 and before He was 33! Furthermore, it was different for different towns! The "coming of the Son of man" for one town came before the "coming of the Son of man" occurred for the next town on His itinerary!

"Chorazin" (Kowraziym) is/was a LITERAL town in the Galiyl (Galilee). They've found the ruins of the town at 32 degrees 54 minutes 41 seconds North latitude, 35 degrees 33 minutes 50 seconds East longitude!

"Bethsaida" (Beeyt Tsaaydah) is/was a LITERAL town in the Galiyl at 32 degrees 54 minutes 36 seconds North latitude, 35 degrees 37 minutes 51.6 seconds East longitude!

"Capernaum" (Kfar Nachuwm) is a LITERAL town in the Galiyl at 32 degrees 52 minutes 52 seconds North latitude, 35 degrees 34 minutes 30 seconds East longitude!

These are all LITERAL towns! You can go to the village Kfar Nachuwm on the shore of Lake Kinneret (the Sea of Galilee) today! They have boat rides that they offer out onto the Sea of Galilee! You can go to the ruins of the other two villages today! In fact, Yeshua` used to live in Kfar Nachuwm after He left Natsaret! That's why they had such a hard time accepting that Yeshua` was the Messiah! It would be like finding out that the "snotty-nosed brat" down the street from you has become the President of the United States! You'd be saying, "Nah, it couldn't be!" That's why Yeshua` made the statement:

Matthew 13:54-58
54 And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?
55 Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
56 And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?
57 And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.
58 And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
KJV

So, Yeshua` wasn't cursing them, as some teach; He was MOURNING them! The word "woe" is the Greek "word" (cry of grief), "ooahee!" sounding like our cry of grief, "Why?!" It's an onomatopoeia - "the formation of a word, as cuckoo or boom, by imitation of a sound made by or associated with its referent."

NOTHING in this 2-chapter context has to do with the future directly! Can you understand that?

You cant understand anything.
You have no idea who Jesus is speaking too here.
Dont you know the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy?
You have no idea how the 144,000 can follow the lamb witherso he goeth without him being here.
Jesus is giving them instruction.Instruction that you can not understand..

Below are the saints who are persecuted and die in Israel during the last 3 1/2 years before Armegeddon.

Daniel 11;33
[sup]33 [/sup]And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.

All Instruction for these saints who preach in Israel during the last 3 1/2 years before the Jesus comes.

Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Retro.
You can't understand anything.
You have no idea who Jesus is speaking to here.
Don't you know the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy?

17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;

Baloney. Until you've learned how to read Scripture, you have no business trying to teach others. Dani'el 11:33 is not in any way related to the two chapters that you have BUTCHERED in the above quote! Dani'el 11:33 was fulfilled in the days of Antiochus IV Epiphanes: The following is from http://www.herealittletherealittle.net/index.cfm?page_name=Daniel11 :

As Antiochus IV and his army marched toward Alexandria, they were met by three Roman senators led by Gaius Popillius Laenas in Eleusis, a suburb of Alexandria. There, Roman ambassador Popillius delivered to Antiochus IV the Senate's demand that he withdraw from Egypt. When the king requested time for consultation, Popillius drew a circle around Antiochus IV with a stick he was carrying and told him not to leave the circle until he gave his response. The king of the North was astonished at this display of Roman arrogance, but after a brief time, said he would do all that the Romans demanded.
On his return to Syria, Antiochus IV tried to ease the sting of the humiliation he had suffered at the hands of the Romans by taking out his frustration on the Jews in Judea. His armies encircled Jerusalem and then attacked. All those Jews who resisted were executed. However, the pro Hellenistic Jews who allied themselves with Antiochus IV were left unharmed.
DANIEL 11:31 "And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation." (NKJV)
Antiochus IV's army desecrated the Temple and stopped the daily sacrifices. On the 15th of Kislev, in December 168 BCE, the Syrians built a pagan altar over the altar of burnt offering in the Temple and placed an image of Zeus Olympius upon it. Ten days later, on the 25th of Kislev, swine's flesh was offered on the altar to Zeus.
DANIEL 11:32 "Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits." (NKJV)
After venting his anger upon the Jews and desecrating the Temple, Antiochus IV decreed that his entire kingdom should become one people, each giving up his own customs. The other peoples under his rule accepted Antiochus IV's command. Because of his flattering approach, many of the people of Israel also forsook the Law and adopted his religion.
Antiochus IV commanded a change in all the ordinances of God. No sacrifices were to be offered in the sanctuary, the Sabbaths and feasts were to be profaned, and that the Jews were not to circumcise their sons. Upon pain of death, they were commanded to profane the true religion so that eventually the Law would be forgotten. Antiochus IV appointed inspectors to watch the Jews and commanded the cities of Judah to offer pagan sacrifices. Yet many in Israel stood firm and rejected the innovations of the king of the North.
DANIEL 11:33 "And those of the people who understand shall instruct many; yet for many days they shall fall by sword and flame, by captivity and plundering." (NKJV)
Whenever Antiochus IV's men found copies of the Torah, they tore them to pieces and burned them. Whoever was found in possession of a Torah was put to death. According to Antiochus IV's decree, women who had their children circumcised were put to death, along with their entire families and those who had circumcised them. Still, many in Israel chose to die rather than to break the holy covenant.

And as I've already said, chapters 10 and 11 are NOT about the future! How do you get that at all?! Can't you see that Yeshua` hadn't even died, yet?! Can't you see that few even had a vague glimmer of hope that He might rise again?! Most had no real hope that He would, especially after He died the gruesome death of the Cross! And, to be taken up in His ascension took them by surprise! How were they even to understand that He would come "AGAIN" this early in His ministry?! You're not making any sense! Read a different version! Read SEVERAL different versions! I think you should look at the NIV, the Complete Jewish Bible, and the New Living Translation. Something - ANYTHING - to get you to see that the Gospels are HISTORY of Yeshua`s life, particularly during His "Ministry!" And, not everything Yeshua` said was a prophecy! To the contrary, there was much that He taught about living life TODAY! Furthermore, you've totally MISSED His reason for coming! If you think the only reason He came to earth the first time was to die, you've missed the point ENTIRELY! His purpose was to REIGN IN JERUSALEM! He was heralded by Yochanan the Immerser (John the Baptist) and then His talmidiym (disciples) as the King, the Son of David, who was foretold to come! THAT is what these chapters are about!

Yet the Daniel 11 is not past tense by any means. It's a Biblical pattern, as it includes the subject of the "abomination of desolation" which Christ Jesus mentioned in His Olivet Discourse about 200 years AFTER Antiochus IV had already been dead.

I think the point of the original texts quoted is that "unto whom much has been given (revelation), much shall be expected (obedience). Tyre, Sidon, Sodom and Gamorrah had not received Gods revelation as had the people of Chorazin, Bethsaida and Capernaum.

Many prophecies have a fulfillment a short time after they are given, among the people of that time, and then a broader fulfillment for the last days. The soon fulfillment on a small scale gives us confidence that the larger main fulfillment will take place.

No, Dani'el 11 is DONE; it's in the PAST! It's not a "biblical pattern!" How absurd is that?! The phrase "abomination of desolation" used in the Olivet Discourse comes from Dani'el 9, not Dani'el 11! Sure Antiochus IV Epiphanes is dead; that's why Dani'el 11 is DONE AND FULFILLED! Only those who are DESPERATE to make Dani'el 11 fit the "antichrist" figure in certain eschatologies to support their wild claims for this "antichrist" will claim that it's a "biblical pattern!" We don't need to force God's Word to fit our eschatology, as did the authors of the Left Behind series.

ok .Then tell us what day the resurection took place.
Because in Daniel12 ;1 it is said the resurection takes place at the time of the king of the north's death.
If you want anyone here to believe you then tell us all about the resurection.

Daniel 11;[sup]45 [/sup]He will pitch his royal tents between the seas at[sup][f][/sup] the beautiful holy mountain. Yet he will come to his end, and no one will help him.

Daniel 12;1“At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book —will be delivered. [sup]2 [/sup]Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.

Tell us the date of thi resurection that takes place when this king of the north died.
Who resurected those saints ?

Quit ignoring the resuection of the dead at the time of this kings death.

No, you're not reading it correctly. A HUGE amount of time is summed up in 12:1! Let's back up...

Dan. 11:45 is talking about Herod the Great. HE was the one who "pitched his royal tents" between the eastern sea (the Dead Sea) and the western sea (the Mediterranean Sea) at the beautiful mountain (Mount Zion in Jerusalem). Then, look at Dani'el 12:1-4:

Daniel 12:1-4
1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
KJV

During Herod the Great's reign, Yeshua` was born in Beit-Lechem of Y'hudah. "Michael" or rather "Miykhaa'eel," means "Who is like God." Many put a question mark after the interpretation of the name; I don't. I believe that it is not an angel's name; I believe it is a code word for the Messiah. Who else but the Messiah Yeshua`, the Son of God, is "like God?" He is the "great prince" who stands for the children of Dani'el's people. Then, there shall be a "time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time." This is the "tribulation" that Yeshua` predicted in Matthew 24:21. This began in the first century and is still continuing through today! It will continue until the Messiah returns. And, that is when "thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt."

Follow all that? There's a lot of time going by in 12:1!
