“Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.”

“He shall live!” Of everything that concerns a “resurrection,” the eternality which it establishes is the prominent significance, thus, focusing on the term “live” should not be deemed less urgent than any other aspect concerning it. After all, isn’t eternity with God the primary issue?

Concerning resurrection, the term live is the key aspect. Once a spiritual body is unified with a physical body in the womb (“There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body”—1 Cor 15:44) the term “live” is established, because living involves an existing spiritual body (eternal after created) in conjunction with a physical body.

There is a temporal resurrection and an eternal resurrection, both of which Scripture provides disclosure. Since Christ has “in all things” the “preeminence” (Col 1:18), it is obviously understood why there are no examples of an eternal resurrection until He was raised. This answers to “the first begotten of the dead” (Rev 1:5) and “the firstborn from the dead” (Col 1:18), which means Christ was the first to be raised to an immortal life and not a mortal one.

Some of the temporal examples are a widow’s son in the city of Nain (Luke 7:12-15), Jairus's daughter (Luke 8:41, 42, 49, 54, 55), Tabitha (Acts 9:40) and Lazarus, but my favorite is when “many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many” (Matt 27:52, 52). This is said to occur “after His resurrection,” but I want to bring attention to a prior occurrence, in which “the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom” (v 51).

The point of interest here is the fact the veil “was torn in two from top to bottom,” which confirms an act only God could perform by the phrase “from top to bottom.” This indicates the veil was not entirely severed, ceasing near the bottom. If it were torn completely into two halves, it would not be possible to determine it was “from top to bottom” and given it was twenty-two yards high and four inches think there was no other option concerning how it occurred.

I would also like to bring attention to the first resurrection, which is that of the saints in Revelation-Twenty: “and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years; but the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished; Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection” (vs 4, 5, 6).

The word “lived,” designs the intention of not just being in their spiritual bodies but also in their incorruptible bodies (Rom 8:23), which those of the last resurrection will also receive, indicated by “the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished,” which occurs in verses 12, 13.

Jesus said, “the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live” (John 5:25), which includes everyone because, “all who are in the graves will hear His voice” (v 28), just at different times. So if someone ever asks you if you think Elvis is really alive, you can truthfully answer, “Not yet.”

A Joyous Easter to all your Families and blessed be God!

I have to agree with most of what you wrote, but on this I don't:
John 5:25
25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
KJV
John 10:27
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
KJV

I do agree that all will come back to life, yet not all WILL be considered " Alive" by the Spirit to hear the Word of God in obedience. And those who are not written in the book of life, though they will live, will have their place in the lake of fire tormented day and night. See there are two forms of dead, one being spiritually dead, the other physically dead and the same for Alive or Living for He is not the god of the dead, but of the Living meaning having His Spirit and His Word indwelling them. Yet He is God over all, but not all know Him as Lord so He is not their god their time of choosing is up and they will be cast into everlasting torment with their god.
Rev 20:10-21:1
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
KJV

I believe the more I study that God is showing me that hell is not only a place but a condition that one CHOOSES to live by their actions and heaven which Jesus said is within you is also a condition of our choosing by our actions. For we reap what we sow, which is perfect justice. What we loose on earth shall be loosed in (our) heaven. What we bind on earth will be bound in our heaven.
This means that if we allow lying cheating and stealing, fornication adultery in our lifestyles and our associations/company, then they are going to be dwelling in our heaven we have built up for ourselves by our own actions of acceptance or forbidding.
The devil and his angels are bound in chains of Everlasting darkness for angels can never be completely destroyed as in no more, meaning that they are always kept in torment, evil, misery and chaos in their life forever and ever and they are not capable to get free, for God is Sovereign over His Creation and it is He who controls all things. It is He who raises up princes and kings and He who takes them down. And brings them up in His righteousness as such to set with His people which will be the rulers of the new earth to come and with Christ for the 1,000 yrs. cleanup for the 7th day as a day of the LORD's is as 1,000 of man's.

The John 10:27 reference is the voice of Christ in His Gospel, both externally and internally and since most Jews did not, it was a plain case they were not of His sheep.

What is the resurrection ? What did Jesus mean by saying that he is "the resurrection and the life" whereby "he that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life" ? The word resurrection in Greek is from the word a·na´sta·sis and literally means “raising up; standing up.”

At 1 Corinthians 15, the apostle Paul says concerning those which "puts on incorruption and this which is mortal puts on immortality, then the saying will take place that is written (at Hosea 13:14) "Death is swallowed up forever."(1 Cor 15:53, 54) Yes, these have been granted immortality, that even if they were apart from Jehovah God, these could live forever. However, these will never leave Jehovah.

Only when a person is among "those who belong to the Christ" (1 Cor 15:23), who ' stands up', coming to life from the clutches of death by means of a resurrection from the dead are these ones given immortality. (Greek anathansia, meaning "deathlessness") During Jesus "(invisible) "presence" (1 Cor 15:23b) are these ones who have died resurrected, which began from 1914 onward with his installation as king of God's kingdom.

Those who "belong to Christ", who are anointed by holy spirit as a "token in advance of (their) inheritance" (Eph 1:14) of being "kings and priests" in heaven alongside Jesus Christ (Rev 5:9, 10) take "part in the first resurrection" and "over these the second death has no authority."(Rev 20:6) These will never die again.

On the other hand, there is another group of loyal servants of God that will be resurrected from the dead that are not granted immortality, but will enjoy life forever. At Revelation 20, after the "earth and the heaven fled away" (the political governments and institutions as the "heaven" and those who supported them as the "earth" are destroyed), it says that "the dead, the small and the great, (were) standing before the throne, and scrolls were opened.....and the sea gave up the dead in it, and death and Hades ("hell" KJV) gave up those dead in them, and they were judged individually according to their deeds."(Rev 20:11-13)

These ones too will have the opportunity of enjoying the "real life"(1 Tim 6:19), fulfilling Jehovah's original purpose for the earth, as "meek" ones which God intended when he placed Adam and Eve on the earth. Jesus said: "Blessed are the meek; for they shall inherit the earth."(Matt 5:5)

The vast majority of those who have died are among those who will be resurrected for an opportunity to live on the paradise that Jesus spoke of to the evil-doer, telling him: "Truly, I tell you today, You will be with me in paradise."(Luke 23:43) The "meek" ones "inheritance" is the earth, which will be transformed into a paradise.(Ps 115:16)

These with hope of living forever on an earthly paradise are also the ones who are spoken at Matthew 25, who assist Jesus "brothers". But just who are these "brothers" of Jesus ? These are ones anointed with holy spirit for the "heavenly calling" (Heb 3:1) who "became hungry....thirsty....naked...in prison".(Matt 25:35, 36)

The ones who assist Jesus "brothers" (co-rulers in God's kingdom who number 144,000, Rev 7:4; 14:1), gain God's favor for doing so, assisting Jesus "brothers" in preaching and teaching "the good news of God's kingdom" around the earth.(Matt 24:14; 28:19, 20) These will live on the earthly paradise.

These ones who assist Jesus "brothers" are contrasted with those who make a profession of helping Jesus "brothers", but "the king" (Jesus Christ) finds them guilty of failure to render assistance. To them, he says: "Be on your way from me, you who have been cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the Devil and his angels."(Matt 25:41)

The churches of Christendom have professed helping Jesus, but Jesus recognizes that they have not assisted his "brothers", but rather have often presecuted them. So Jesus passes judgment on them, telling that that they are destined to "the everlasting fire prepared for the Devil and his angels" or everlasting destruction.
