Yes, but SA is 64% Hispanic. Love Mexican food, but don't speak the language. Dallas, Austin more appealing - love those cities. I live in between them.Interesting. I always thought San Antonio Texas would be a nice city. Maybe it's because of the River Walk and The Alamo.
I'm used to Hispanics as I live in Los Angeles, not sure of the percentage but we have many. Most of my neighbors in my 75 unit apartment building are Hispanic. Two neighbors that are nice and very helpful to me (I'm a senior citizen) are from Guatemala.Yes, but SA is 64% Hispanic. Love Mexican food, but don't speak the language. I lived in Torrance for 35 years, I know. LA county is a melting pot of 140 ethnic groups - about 48% Hispanic, 25% White, 10% black, 15% Asian. Depending on the area you live the numbers fluctuate drastically. South Bay and along the coastal cities, and Orange County (more expensive areas), you have more whites.I'm used to Hispanics as I live in Los Angeles, not sure of the percentage but we have many. I meant Oxford University. I guess I thought that was in London somehow.@TitusTwoWife Do you mean Oxford Street in London? There's also the city of Oxford, the University city. Cambridge is also a University city and more picturesque.
The Koreans are educated, disciplined, hard workers and usually their children exel in schools. It's probably a safe neighborhood too.@Ronald David Bruno That's interesting, glad you are happy in Texas and that some of your family moved with you.
I'm in Koreatown. Before the Koreans came, it was mainly a Hispanic area. Still a lot of Hispanics but a lot of Koreans as they have businesses here. There's a lot of luxury apartment buildings in Koreatown now but mainly it's only Koreans that can afford them.
I'm 76 so it's hard for me to make a move. But if they ever tear my building down, I have to make a move.
Also most Koreans are Christians. There's hundreds of Korean churches in Koreatown...many located in office buildings since church structures are not too plentiful. Some of them sometimes rent a sanctuary from a church building. The Koreans are educated, disciplined, hard workers and usually their children exel in schools. It's probably a safe neighborhood too.
Certainly a better place to live than many in LA.
Oxford is about 60 miles west of London, and Cambridge about 60 miles north east of London.I meant Oxford University. I guess I thought that was in London somehow.
