DID YOU KNOW THESE FACTS? Death is certain but the Bible speaks about untimely death! Make a personal reflection about this.....Very interesting, read until the end..... It is written in the Bible (Galatians 6:7): "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sow, that shall he also reap. Here are some men and women who mocked God :John Lennon (Singer): Some years before, during his interview with an American Magazine, he said: "Christianity will end, it will disappear. I do not have to argue about that. I am certain. Jesus was ok, but his subjects were too simple, today we are more famous than Him" (1966). Lennon, after saying that the Beatles were more famous than Jesus Christ, was shot six times.Tancredo Neves (President of Brazil ):During the Presidential campaign, he said if he got 500,000 votes from his party, not even God would remove him from Presidency. Sure he got the votes, but he got sick a day before being made President, then he died. Cazuza (Bi-sexual Brazilian composer, singer and poet): During A show in Canecio ( Rio de Janeiro ), while smoking his cigarette, he puffed out some smoke into the air and said:"God, that's for you." He died at the age of 32 of LUNG CANCER in a horrible manner. The man who built the Titanic After the construction of Titanic, a reporter asked him how safe the Titanic would be.With an ironic tone he said: "Not even God can sink it" The result: I think you all know what happened to the Titanic Marilyn Monroe (Actress)She was visited by Billy Graham during a presentation of a show. He said the Spirit of God had sent him to preach to her. After hearing what the Preacher had to say, she said: "I don't need your Jesus". A week later, she was found dead in her apartment Bon Scott (Singer)The ex-vocalist of the AC/DC. On one of his 1979 songs he sang: "Don't stop me; I'm going down all the way, down the highway to hell". On the 19th of February 1980, Bon Scott was found dead, he had been choked by his own vomit.Campinas (IN 2005)In Campinas , Brazil a group of friends, drunk, went to pick up a friend..... The mother accompanied her to the car and was so worried about the drunkenness of her friends and she said to the daughter holding her hand, who was already seated in the car: "My Daughter, Go With God And May He Protect You." She responded: "Only If He (God) Travels In The Trunk, Cause Inside Here.....It's Already Full " Hours later, news came by that they had been involved in a fatal accident, everyone had died, the car could not be recognized what type of car it had been, but surprisingly, the trunk was intact. The police said there was no way the trunk could have remained intact. To their surprise, inside the trunk was a crate of eggs, none was broken Christine Hewitt (Jamaican Journalist and entertainer) said the Bible (Word of God) was the worst book ever written. In June 2006 she was found burnt beyond recognition in her motor vehicle. Many more important people have forgotten that there is no other name that was given so much authority as the name of Jesus. Many have died, but only Jesus died and rose again, and he is still alive. "May you be blessed by the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth."-Psalm 115:15

God is eternal and so is his jugement . those who think because so many have lived a naturaly long life while hating Christ . might wrongly suppose that God can be mocked .they have no idea that this is their time of grace God has given them to turn to Jesus who has won then forgivness.God Gospel that gives faith is not a gospel of you better be good to God or else.no it is a gospel of Gods forgivness because we all are mockers of God.every sin we do mocks and betrays the jesus we say we believe in .yet his forgivnes is more powerful than our mocking and betraying.yes we christians need Jesus forgivness just as badly as those we shake our fingers at.

Amen!Terrorist leader Hezbola announced that he wished Israel would suffer an earthquake earlier this month. A day after he had said it, Hezbola's nation (Lebanon I think) had a severe earthquake.

"The fool has said in his heart, there is no God." Psa:14:1"The Lord shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud (great) things: Who have said, with our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is Lord over us?" (Psa:12:3,4)The Lord is merciful and slow to anger, but can a man tempt or threaten God? Wouldn't wanna try it! Even the devils tremble at His name, yet little old mortal man, who knows he has no power to save himself from death, has the pride and nerve to deny or shake his fist at the Lord of Glory. We will only be prideful for a season, our knees will bend, and they will bow, and no man or friend or family member will be there to hear the pride that we will not have in that day, when we stand alone, exposed, and at the mercy of our Creator. Who was it that said, "I saw satan fall as lightening from the heavens?" Surely just after he said, "I will lift myself into heaven, and will exalt my throne above God.....and I will be like the Most High?" Alot of "I Wills!" "The fear of God is the "Beginning" of knowledge"...and just when we think we are wise we become a fool...the Great wisdom of man is foolishness to God...that's about how smart we are. Just when we think we got it all figured out...we havn't even begun to know anything..."Pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall"...it's a child's heart that will see the Kingdom of God...but we are too wise for the child that doesn't need to have God materialize before his face to figure out that the proof of Him is all around us and in the place that we look last...our heart...where His Law is written for every single man...yet some have seared thier conscience! We'll call things coincedence by our great wisdom one day for the last time...so obvious a child can see, but we have grown up so much in wordly human knowledge that the Word of Life has no more effect in our heart...the greater our minds get the weaker our hearts get...and it's out of the heart that the issues of life proceed from...It's with the heart man believes...not his mind...and yet our focus is so much from our minds...if we can't find or see or hear or notice God it's because we ignore our heart and listen only to all the knowledge our minds gain, not from God but from a fallen world that doesn't know him....The endless things that are exalted above the knowlege of Christ in our minds will never allow us to see or find or notice Him...the stronger our minds the weaker our heart...and it's from the heart that the issues of life proceed from...It's better to have a heart that is willing to open the door to Jesus than to have the greatest mind in the world...it's better to be a child than a wise man of "this" world...there's a whole lot more Joy and "Pleasure" on your knees than there is in the honor of thousands of men...God resists the proud and gives Grace to the humble...as he points the prideful man to the Law but the poor of spirit to his Mercy...Some say they can't find God, and I pondered how that could be...when He's so very very easy to find...any day at any time...and I reckon if we can't get him to come to our table, maybe we need to go to His Tables of the Law...which perfectly convert the soul...maybe if we recognize our sin we may then recognize the Savior. Grace doesn't come until we "need" it......and man does it come when we realize we Need it! Love, and Yes...Love, preachergirl, Siskim

That is something that keeps me "in check". I fully believe we get what we give. We should treat others the way we want to be treated and to remember that they are Jesus to us. It amazes me how God does things! Some things are almost funny. A few years ago I was backing out of my garage. We had just moved here and I wasn't used to it. My husband was watching (which made me nervous) and I hit the side of the garage. I got reamed for it! A few days ago, he was working on my same vehicle. He backed out with the driver door open and almost knocked it completely off. I had to chuckle to myself! He kept apologizing and I told him it was okay. It took him hours to fix it. Also, last week, I left the gas running to keep the logs burning in our fireplace.I did cut it back to low, but never cut it off. He came in fussing about it telling me I could pay the next bill and that it was very irresponsible of me. A day or two later, I came home and he came inside with me. He had lit the gas and the flames were steady shooting up, with no logs on the fire at all!! He said, "Now look what I did! And I was fussing at you about wasting gas!" I laughed and told him he could have the bill back! I have purposed in my heart to give my anger and frustrations to God as much as possible, and He does take care of things- in His own time.

Let's all read the verse just before "God is not mocked....."Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. That basically means pay the pastor. After all, he is making a living from teaching God's Word. My wife is the treasurer of our church, and it pains us to see people driving big cars but put $5-10 in the offering plate, less than a value meal at McDonald's.Now, let's read the verse after the "God is not mocked..... " part. It explains what that verse really means. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.Buying big cars before giving to God, and then saying "I can't tithe or the tithe is not required in the NT" is definitely sowing to the flesh and such rationale is used to justify "freedom" in Christ to do what they want while being a cheapskate with God. That is what God won't be mocked about. Sow to the flesh, they will get the rewards of the flesh: corruption. Sow to the Spirit, and one gets life everlasting. Don't anyone fool themselves over this.

There are many things that could be considered "of the flesh". I don't disagree, but I think tithing is only one aspect. I think we will reap what we sow in every area of our lives. I've seen it time and time again. It may not be the exact same way, but sometimes it is. We can be certain that God is a just God. Everything's going to weigh out in the end.

This passage may be about tithing, but that doesn't mean it's the only way God is mocked. I don't think using this passage (Galations 6:7) to explain that we shouldn't mock God in any way is taking it out of context. The fact remains, that however we may try to mock God, He won't have it. The context of this passage doesn't change the principle of God's character.

Amen!It saddens me that men won't see this truth and have even shaken their fists in the face of God. I wonder how long God will hold back before He defends His honor in America-and the world. When He does... no wonder the rocks and mountains will fall on people, like it says in Revelation.
