Thoughts people? So maybe about 15-20 minutes ago, for some reason I was thinking "2020 The year of revival" then as I went into my room, 2 words came to mind "prophetic mantle" then I saw a white mantle. After this I told my parents, then came back to my room and I just fell to my knees, curled up and head bowed, then something lifted my head and I was staring to the corner of my ceiling, it felt like I was staring at Jesus's face, the presence of God I felt was so strong.

May very well be. But I think that when the latter rain does fall like the original Pentecost, even those who currently believe they are "filled with the Spirit" will think that fanaticism has come to town, and the revived ones drunk with new wine.
God bless.

The current biblical trend towards the Day of the Lords fiery return from Heaven, does not speak of revival.
Luke 18[8] I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

2 Thes. 2[3] Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day [of His Glorious Return] shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

For whatever you believe about the "early and latter rain", those events have already been manifested:
1. The Day of Pentecost- early rain
Pentecost - Wikipedia

2. The Great Awakening- latter rain
Second Great Awakening - Wikipedia

Time for the Judgement to Begin:

1 Peter 4:7-11 The end of all things is upon us, therefore to help you pray, you must lead self controlled and sober lives. Above all, love each other, because love cancels out a host of sins. Be hospitable to one another, without grumbling and each one should use whatever gifts that they have received from God to serve others. Use your gifts and strength to glorify God through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and power for ever.

1 Peter 4:12-16 Dear friends, do not be surprised by the fiery trial which is to try you, as though something strange were happening to you, but rejoice, that you participate in the suffering of Christ, then when His glory is revealed, your joy will be great. If you are reviled for being a Christian, count yourself happy, for the Spirit of God rests upon you and if you do suffer, it must not be for any criminal deed. However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.

1 Peter 4:17-19 For it is time for judgement to begin; it is beginning with God’s own household, as Scripture says; If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the impious and sinful? So let those who suffer according to God’s will entrust their souls to Him, while continuing to do good; their Maker will not fail them.

1 Peter 5:10 After your brief suffering, the God of all grace who called you to His eternal glory in Christ will Himself make you perfect, establish, strengthen and settle you. Reference: Revised English Bible, some verses abridged.

The end of all things is upon us’. Peter does not mean the end of the world, but the end of this present age, our time; right now!

do not be surprised by the fiery trial’. This can refer to the persecution of the early church, but is mainly to us in the last days, as we face the forthcoming judgement by fire, earthquakes, storms and tsunamis: the Sixth Seal event. 2 Peter 3:7

His glory revealed’. Firstly that revealing will be to Jesus’ born again people: 2 Thessalonians 1:6-10. Later; at the Return of Jesus, He will be seen by all the world. Matthew 24:30, Revelation 19:11

The Judgement begins in God’s household’. The terrible fire judgement prophesied so many times throughout the Bible, will initially strike the Middle East, which includes the present State of Israel. Many prophecies say how all the holy Land will be ‘burnt and devastated’, Jeremiah 9:10-12, Jeremiah 10:18, Isaiah 10:23, Joel 1 & 2, Amos 1

make you perfect, establish, strengthen and settle you’. This will be the fulfilment of all the great promises of how the Lord will gather His faithful Christian people, Ezekiel 34:11-16 and how He will pour out His Spirit upon them, Ezekiel 37:14, Isaiah 35:1-10 Then they will be established and settled into all of the area promised to Abraham. Genesis 17:8, Isaiah 62:1-5

Isaiah 49:8-11 The Lord says: In the time of My favour, on the Day of Deliverance, I will come to your aid. You are My people, destined to be a light to the nations and to restore the Land. Go free now and in the Land, you will find food and water in plenty. It will not be too hot when the One who loves them will guide them along highways. My people; coming from all parts of the world, will shout for joy as they enter their Land. For God will comfort His people in their distress. Psalms 107, Zechariah 8:1-8, Romans 9:24-26

Please consider the distinct idea that judgement in iscertain contexts is altogether a different concept from the executive sentence being enacted as a result of the judgement made. God's people are now, right now now, through trial and storm and challenges to faith and practice, being judged by heaven. This is the judgement being described as starting in the house of God. We are His house and Christ the Master over His own household. We are His people being prepared.. Judged... Disciplined... In preparation for His coming. Note the context...
KJV 1 Peter 4
Share Christ's Sufferings
12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.
16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

History shows that throughout Christendom, there have been times of refreshing, almost as a foretaste of what is to come.

Some examples are the charismatic renewal in the UK During the 60s and lasted about 30 years.

The Toronto Blessing again which has lasted many years.

The Welsh Revival which lasted many years.

The Azuza Street revival which is still happening to many as it birthed the AOG.

The Great Awakening of 1727.

Nikolas Count Ludwig Von Zinzendorf, a German, was the leader of the movement that began a 24 hour-a-day prayer meeting, which lasted the next 100 years

Revival spread to the Baptists of Pennsylvania and Virginia before the extraordinary awakening that occurred in Northampton, Massachusetts, under the ministry of Jonathan Edwards in 1734

For 34 years George Whitfield exercised a most amazing preaching ministry, with revival signs often following him. His eloquence was commanding and convincing, full of vivid pictures and graphic expressions

Whitefield's friend, John Wesley, must go down in history as the architect of the 18th-century evangelical revival.

And so on and so on and so on.

So often, the revival happened because the church was losing its vigour and dedication. If that is the case, we need one right now as the church in the west is as dead as it has ever been.

Which is good and optimistic, but does not face the reality of what is happening in Christendom. Revival follows repentance, not apostasy.
Oh, revival can come during apostasy... But those in apostasy won't recognise it... But repentance is certainly the first condition.

Ummm... evidently you can't hear the words of Christ and the Apostle Paul, as we are even more closer to the Day of the Lord's Glorious and Fiery return.

Also this:
2 Peter [3] Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
[4] And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

Not sure what you are trying to tell me here... That there will be a falling away?...
Of course, we are in the midst of such...
That this falling away introduces the Antichrist?....
Yes, but it isn't as if he had only just recently arrived on the scene...
Maybe you are suggesting that the will be no revival?...
I guess you get what you believe for yes?

Also this:
2 Peter [3] Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
[4] And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
Here I have no idea what you are suggesting... That I agree with the scripture, of course. Who doesn't believe scripture? Surely you aren't suggesting that I am one of those scoffers who don't believe in the second coming... Nuh... No reason why you would think that from what I have posted... Guess your post was a mistake... Never mind, we all make them.
Allow me if you will to offer you an example from history that substantiates my post you quoted...
In the early centuries the greatest apostasy took place. It took several hundred years to develop to its fullest depth of wickedness: Paul and the apostle John warned of its imminence, and the result was the papacy. This monstrous evil continued for 1000 years the persecutions against God's people first carried out by Jews, continued by pagan Rome, and developed to a fine art by Catholicism. During this time, the church knew revival. The church grew to such an extent of power and influence that entire kingdoms were saved and converted from Britain to Japan, all before the middle ages which witnessed in Europe the Roman version of Nazism. Rome not only failed to recognise the existence of that church, but continues to this day to lie and deny it ever existed. They have done all they can to wipe any evidence of it from history, and what they cannot destroy, they call heresy. So not only did the apostasy not recognise the massive wonderful work of God in establishing this church in the wilderness, it set out to destroy it wherever it came across it.
The present apostasy will be no different. Revelation speaks of a great end time revival where God's people go to the ends of the earth preaching the everlasting gospel to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people, but the scripture also speaks of the enmity of the established church, Babylon the great and her harlot daughters who not only, again, (you see history repeats) fail utterly to recognise the work of God (just as Israel failed to and murdered her Messiah... And papal Rome failed to and murdered His children) but instigate religious sanctions and legislation designed to coerce and force the global community to join in her apostasy... Only one group deny Babylon's spiritual victory... Those who keep the commandments of God and have the faith and testimony (the Spirit of prophecy) of Jesus. You can read all about it in Revelation 13 and 14.

The present apostasy will be no different.
Right, Jesus said that in the end times, it will be like the time of Noah again.
Then they just got on with life, as we do now. Matthew 24:37-39 But they had no thought for their Creator, so they were wiped out.
Today we see books that tell us God is Dead and the earth is our Mother, etc, and atheism is prevalent. Many prophesies plainly state how God will once again; reset our civilization, this time using fire. Isaiah 66:15-17, Romans 1:18, 2 Peter 3:7

Well to paint a picture, yes we are seeing people drift far from God, but in the midst of this all in our world today, there are many that are turning back to God, there are many that are seeking a deeper, closer relationship with God, and yes there are a lot of young people too wanting more of what Jesus has for them, there maybe the 99 sheep, but there are a lot more of the lost ones coming to Jesus, there are a lot more of the ones starting to seek the deeper spiritual things of God, there is an interest building and arising about Jesus.

And I believe as Christians, we aren't supposed to pray God's judgement on people, it is not our job.... But instead to pray God's blessing, peace, mercy and grace upon those around us.
