You know, I've had a pretty insane week - like we all do at times - with a family member's wreck, life changes, and other personally things that kept me away from the computer for everything but a few minutes a night.

I had a pretty high opinion of this community, but I login to find nothing short of an absolute mess! I think pretty much the whole lot of you should be ashamed; and I am speaking directly to both "sides" here. Running around and calling folks "hoodlums" and "gangs" and other names is not only childish but it shows a clear lack of spiritual maturity. The very same goes for the more subtle means of insulting and flaming/harassment that has taken place as well. Guess what folks, people hold different viewpoints than you rapture or non-rapture. Live with it. I honestly feel like it's a joke that a significant group of members cannot handle themselves when the Administrator is away. You've obviously exposed that we don't have enough on staff, and so that will be addressed here as soon as I am able. Let me be the first to say anyone involved will not be considered, so don't ask nor even waste my time.

Let me just remind everyone here that folks are banned because they break the rules. I give folks multiple chances outside of a few obvious things like people who lie about their religion or spammers. You can start threads and insinuate all you want that the team here is banning people for whatever reason, but that does not make it true. I think in this case it's rather obvious that if we were trying to stifle certain beliefs or viewpoints that we'd simply ban the lot of those who agreed upon something to accomplish that end. You are certainly free to have your opinions, but the logic here is pretty lacking for the case. I will also remind y'all that no one here is forced to post and if you find this place to be uncomfortable first let me know (by actually discussing it with me) and then you're always free to move on and not post here should it be an issue for you.

Again, I don't think words can properly communicate my disappointment here. The shoutbox tit for tats and hijacked threads are appalling and entirely unChristian. Unfortunately it seems at least for some I will be running this place partially as a daycare requiring a certain number of chaperons to keep things smooth. For the folks that saw this mess and weren't involved, I am very sorry. For those involved, you really should be ashamed of yourselves.

Some of the complaints and comments about showing a Christian attitude were more than true. As the famous saying goes, the buck stops here. The behavior ends when you decide it ends. It starts with you. It doesn't start with running around a forum and continuing the same behavior that you've accused others of doing.

Hopefully this weekend leads to a better week. For those not involved, again I apologize and let's get back to discussing and learning about Christianity.

God Bless,
HammerStone

Thank you for addressing this occurence. The absense of your response provoked the consideration that you had failed in your obligations.
As I expected, engagements in other arenas prevented the oversight and intervention needed to keep the unity of the spirit in the tie of peace.

The broadness of individual opinion that gets placed here, and the amazing amount of devoted students is a testimony of the leading of the Lord and His intent on bringing His Body together into maturity. The topics discussed are important for confidence in God, as well as undoing the works of the Adversary, whose strongholds often have their anchor in the soul of unbridled zealotry. My expectation is that the edge of that zeal find its match in stable and faithful men and women who have had the wind knocked out of them by the Majestic One, and have no confidence in the flesh, but rely on the Living God, who is the Savior of all men, specially them that believe.

Dogmatism has been a chief focus of the Holy Spirit for the last few decades, and the saints who cling to it thinking that they are "defending the truth"and glorifying God are deceived. Rebuking and chastising one another is best left in the hands of the Holy One, Who is able to adjudicate fairly according to knowledge. Let us remain vehicles of faith, expectation and love in our ministry towards one another, without hypocrisy and sectarian passion.

May the Lord Jesus Christ deliver us from those false ones in the spirit realm who masquerade as light, and keep us divided from one another in our search for truth. Should we decided to remove grace and mercy in our dealings with one another, then a crisis will again develope and the fruit of it destroy our unity and peace.

As a member of the satff i would like to forget the whole thing. My only gripe from the begining was a member or multiple members verbally bashing another member without any support. Thats why i came to christinas aid is the fact that if i didnt i would end up being liek the levite and the pharisee that passed the injured person up. I think thats the main point that i have to get across is build up not break down. Speaking for myself though im just glad i didnt get banned

Very much agreed and the banning of a seducing chameleon type of character is an excellent action. Hopefully, his influence will not linger on in the group and his followers will participate with respect. And if respectful posting will be enforced from now on, this group will thrive. If not, it will continue to have difficulties and posts will only contain responses to insults. Even subtle comments that point a negative finger should not be tolerated as they only breed contempt and fester animosity between members.

Move on.

This is good news! The things that were going on were horrifying. To think that all the people who come to this site...Christian or non Christian were witnessing all the child like behavior and unloving attitudes...
As I stated before in a different thread...the way in which we act reflects Christ. To act in a way that contradicts Him...demolishes His glory and the reality of who He is. It's denying Him and His holy name...for what? Your reputation or proving that others are wrong? We are supposed to exalt Him...ESPECIALLY when things such as what happened here are occurring.
There is already enough people who destroy and drag down the name of Christ...why would someone who professes Christ as all satisfying...why would they want to diminish the name of the Son of God for selfish motives?

This site needs to be managed. These things should not be happening. I will pray that things will be restored and that there will be some authority to prevent such awful actions from reoccurring and that God's blessings will rain down upon this site so that the ones who desire to grow closer to God may have that opportunity here. :)

Right or wrong, this is the real world we live in with real people. The same type of thing goes on in any church you look at, that is why there are some many types.
