    Making us like our brother

As I said, much of what Satan said was true, but only in part. I pointed out the part that was a lie.

    Making us like our brother

Thanks for filling in the details, some of which I am sure I did not initially read. Even so, what I had read was not correct, thus my comments. But now I see the problem. This statement you made: "Be careful you don't swallow the original lie from Satan "Ye shall be as God"--is not the lie...

Jesus utters the most unbelievable phrase from a religious founder

You were "wrong" not to mention "If" in your original post. What explanation do you have for your trickery, resulting in four pages of initial nonsense?

The Danger of Twisting God’s Word

Unfortunately, the deed is already done. Judas' story was a living example and prophecy, of: “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened" (Matthew 13:33). This is the parable Jesus gave referring to "the leaven of the...

    Making us like our brother

So you deny posting this, making the comparison of being "as God" with the wants of "Lucifer?" And ever since I called you out on it--YOU have accused me of lying that you posted it. You're amazing!

    Making us like our brother

I am not going to go back and quote you again (which I did word for word with the "Reply" quote feature)--as you have already denied it.

    Making us like our brother

I quoted you saying "as God" and comparing it to "Lucifer." It's enough.

    Making us like our brother

How is it that you seem to find it objectionable that we should be perfect just as our Father in heaven is perfect?

    Making us like our brother

There are biblical examples: fish school, birds flock--birds of a feather, etc. But the greatest are of the two becoming one, where we somehow (by God) become less and He increases, His spirit entering into us in a way that it is even He who speaks, rather than we ourselves. In this same way, if...

    Making us like our brother

The difference (between the first Adam and the Last Adam) is that the first Adam was a mere image, a created image of God, shown in death and then in life: First the natural, then the spiritual--the giver of life everlasting, almighty God.

    Making us like our brother

Being made in the image of God and being His body, does not describe being "like" a "brother", but rather as being joined with Him as "of" Him and a part, yet to be fully realized by humanity. But the description of being "one flesh", should confirm what is actually meant.

I need help getting closer to god

Welcome J! First...God has us all in the world as a time of decision. All that happens in life is like a series of forks in the road. If we make good or bad decisions, eventually we will determine which we prefer--good or evil. The scriptures/the Bible says that God has "set before us life and...

    President Trump's Easter message 2025

2 Chronicles 7:14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

    TODAY IS TOMORROW (in Christ)

This is that day between the crucifixion and the resurrection of Christ; that day of which Christ said, "Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I shall be perfected" (Luke 13:32). This is that day. In the day that Christ gave the above three day word...

Is the BIBLE a work of CONFUSION?

This measure--confusion of all language--(and "blindness in part" Romans 11:25) allows for equal opportunity to all generations. In this way, we all stand before God and either gravitate toward Him...or destruction, by our own freewill. Many are called, but few are chosen.

"Is excessive interpretation the root cause of differences in understanding and doctrinal divisions in the Bible?"

And yet, it should be understood--all have fallen short, leaving no one group fully inline with God and the scriptures.

"Is excessive interpretation the root cause of differences in understanding and doctrinal divisions in the Bible?"

Oh, yes, certainly it is. But there is to be a final chapter, a final finishing revelation already recorded, and yet not revealed until the time of the end--as it is written. This is that time.

THE CHURCH IS NOT THE BRIDE OF CHRIST

The passages here regarding the marriage, the bride, and the servants, are given in translation which does not translate well on a timeline. Which has the effect of making it appear that the servants are not the bride, but this is not so. Just as it is correct to say we "were" crucified with...

Is the BIBLE a work of CONFUSION?

Yes, my own salvation/born again experience was without a Bible. But a week later I just happened to be ( wink, wink) staying in my brother's spare room, and was drawn to a Bible on the shelf--which I then read from cover to cover over the following week. All things are possible with God!

Is the BIBLE a work of CONFUSION?

If "all language" were not still confused, it would be evident by us all translating and understanding the scriptures the same way. But on the contrary, "all language" still being confused is evidenced by the lack thereof.
