Tell me, have you seen him?

God has a backside which can be seen by a mortal man but a face which cannot be seen by a mortal man. Do you think there will ever come a time when a man can literally see Yahweh’s face and live?

Tell me, have you seen him?

I think we can be certain of that. If Moses had literally spoken face to face with Yahweh, Moses would have died. “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.” (Matthew 5:8) Is Jesus speaking or not speaking here about Yahweh?

Tell me, have you seen him?

Has anyone ever seen Yahweh in a vision at any time?

Tell me, have you seen him?

Moses saw Yahweh. Moses saw Yahweh’s back, not his face - yet Yahweh and Moses spoke face to face (Exodus 33:11).

Tell me, have you seen him?

They should have heard the Father’s voice and seen the Father’s form / image. The Messiah’s word to them was a rebuke. “These words you hear me say are not my own. They belong to the Father who sent me” (John 14:24). ”If you have seen me, you have seen the Father” (John 14:9). The Father’s...
