Claimed prophetic fulfillment seems highly questionable. - Were they acquired rather than intended?

Your premise is hard to understand. What do you mean by "acquired?"

    Revelation - chapters 19 and 20

"Thousand" spiritually means forever. The time was "before the foundation of the world" (as was the Lamb slain), and the "little while" is the times of this world.

If God's mercies are "new every morning"--what is new every evening?

The original premise of the thread is based on Lamentations 3:23. But yes, I did include a quote of 1 Corinthians 15:23 to express an elaboration from the scriptures regarding the order of the repetition of darkness and mercy occurring daily.

If God's mercies are "new every morning"--what is new every evening?

This is at times question, a groundhog day image of the illusion of time. And if the darkness and the Lord's mercies are new every evening and morning--what is every day but a repeat of what was, making it what it now is? What does that all mean regarding creation, and even the age of this...

    AI Trolls?

Yes, probably so. I suppose...if we are able to spot them and not be troubled by them, it gives us a chance to witness, backfiring the scammers intentions.

    Why trust the "Early Fathers?"

The word of God (the Bible) can indeed be trusted. However, the Bible itself (God) declares the error of the church including some of the church fathers. Peter said of this church age, "there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will...

    Why trust the "Early Fathers?"

No, that does not answer the question--you left out 1,500 years where "the spirit of anti-Christ was already at work", with apparent total disregard and denial of the 5 out of 7 churches that Jesus reported He had "somewhat against." Your claims are against Christ. So, no, you did not find what...

Why does everyone seem to need to come up with their own belief and doctrinal formula?

It is you who needs to be honest. Here you have done it again, calling God's/Jesus' gospel "Paul's." Make up your mind, and stop speaking out of both sides of your mouth.

If God is real, then how did Noah’s Ark happen?

What you just did there--it's not original. But it is biblical, made famous by the father of lies. So shall it be written.

Why does everyone seem to need to come up with their own belief and doctrinal formula?

You're hedging and waffling, sometimes stating things correctly, and sometimes still defending your own claim that not even Paul would defend, nor did he. It's enough.

    Why trust the "Early Fathers?"

Mary, how is it that you have not factored in that Jesus found "somewhat against" 5 out of the 7 early churches in Revelation; that Peter warned of false teachers entering into the church spreading destructive doctrines; and Paul foretold the believing of a "lie" that would without a doubt cause...

Why does everyone seem to need to come up with their own belief and doctrinal formula?

I just gave an answer for this in post #172. Which, is not determined by one's own actions, but by He who sent him--if he was actually sent by God..

Why does everyone seem to need to come up with their own belief and doctrinal formula?

And this you add to by attributing Paul's gospel to Paul himself, when he qualified and clarified his every claim was only Christ crucified. Now, it is true that Paul spoke for Christ, as he said, "for me to live, is Christ." Which does not make his doctrinal claim his own rather than Christ's...

If God is real, then how did Noah’s Ark happen?

I don't "think", but know that it is God who defines His own word, and when and where it is applicable. In this case, it is applicable to your mocking God by mocking the idea that what I have told you is from God, and that you are in a position to challenge it.

Why does everyone seem to need to come up with their own belief and doctrinal formula?

I already explained the greater meaning of that "little wine" passage. In any case, it is not you who decides what is and is not "church doctrine", but God alone.
  17. ScottA

Why does everyone seem to need to come up with their own belief and doctrinal formula?

No, that is not how it happened, nor how it is written. On the contrary, foretold destructive doctrines entered the church by false teachers teaching a lie that has caused strong delusion and great apostacy.

If God is real, then how did Noah’s Ark happen?

That phrase, was it from God, or men, or translators and their cultural word studies?

Jesus goes all out on the Religious Leaders

Yes, the church has also rejected Christ. Israel rejected Him in the flesh, and the church has rejected Him in spirit by believing the foretold lie and destructive doctrines of false teachers.
