An Opinion about rituals "in religions

You said in post #22: "..He was not murdered." I said "He was murdered." It is a quibble: def: "a slight objection or criticism" But, since you and others think this is not love I will stop posting responses to you, to ByGrace and to Amadeus. Hopefully this is a loving thing to do.

An Opinion about rituals "in religions

He didn't commit suicide. He died by the hands of the Romans, for no offense against the Government. So, He was murdered.

An Opinion about rituals "in religions

The RCC taught that the bread became the flesh of Jesus and the wine became His blood and if they did not eat and drink it they could not be saved. That made people think they would not be saved unless they believed in their church ritual and did it and therefore made their salvation based on...

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

Welcome! I think that many really don't know they are faking belief; they believe a false gospel. Thoughts?

    Is it possible ?

No problem. I've read many of your posts, and it's obvious to me you do not purposely lie. To God be the Glory.

    Is it possible ?

No, your Catholic Church teaches that Protestants do not have the Real Presence. So it is just 'mouldy old dough', according to your Church.

    Is it possible ?

Tell us how you know Jesus 'never showed up'.

    Is it possible ?

Sounds like you are boasting in men. That is schism. 1Corinthians 1: 12. 'Now I say this, that each of you says, “I am of Paul,” or “I am of Apollos,” or “I am of Cephas,...'

An Opinion about rituals "in religions

What do you think of the rituals of Baptism and Communion? He taught us to Baptize and remember His sacrifice. From Matthew 28: 19. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit..." From Luke: Luke 22:19 And...

    The great doctrinal apostasy

*** A further note about Tyndale and Wycliffe. Wycille's translations were never printed. They were hand copied. Tyndale's translation were printed on the printing press which came into use in 1440 by the work of Johannes Gutenburg and his associates. who made removable text letters. I...

Why I could personally never chose to be Catholic

You said: "And...you may be right that no Catholic tradition nullifies or usurps the Word of God...I do not know them well enough to say." You might check out the Immaculate Conception dogma. It seems to me, to be a teaching that relies heavily on Tradition to support it. It 'usurps the Word of...

    One Gospel

You said: "It is an unbelievable fact that the Bible, which has been the most read book in history and is the very life-line of every true believer, still holds the basic truth of the gospel, but the average believer is oblivious to its message." How can "an unbelievable fact" be believed? If...

    Another Gospel?

Thanks for your response. A series of sermons throughout the book of Mark, so yes, he is getting people motivated. As far as I know there are no plans for separate classes, or training, but we'll see.

    The Inquisitions

This Protestant uses the Catholic Church 'as a reference, cautionary tale, a measuring stick' in this way: The Devil's advocate.

    Another Gospel?

Excerpt from a sermon preached by the Pastor of the church I attend (yes, I'm a member). "So for you, if you are not passionate about man-fishing, you aren’t following Jesus." "Here’s the heart of the message: Jesus is calling you to be His disciples by joining in the work of fishing for men...

    The Inquisitions

John Frith was burned at the stake for his 'heretical' views on Transubstantiation. Frith wrote to his friends, "I cannot agree with the divines and other head prelates that it is an article of faith that we must believe - under pain of damnation - that the bread and wine are changed into the...

    The Inquisitions

Speaking of the Inquisition.... A commenter mentioned the 'real presence issue'; is it literal (physically, God Himself), or something else? During the few hundred years of the Catholic Church's Inquisitions, a person saying the Eucharist is not what the Catholic Church teaches, would be (if...
