Romans 16: 20. And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly.

    Gospel of Grace?

You said: "The spirit processes what we see and hear and decides first whether to believe .. but then it has to decide whether to commit one's life to what they believe." Can you provide some Scriptural support for that statement of truth? Or, would it just be a summary of what you believe the...

    Choice or Chosen ?

If you are saying that salvation is "done without your say so or know so", then does the Catholic Church teach that truth? If they do not, and if you are a member, what will happen to you for teaching that?

    Trump prayer chain

For the same reason that I cannot convince God to change His mind after I die: I'm dead and awaiting the resurrection.

Can a Christian be only partly saved?

The Apostle Paul seems to emphasize what he really is, when he says "I myself" in Romans 7:25. ..."So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin." And he minimizes the flesh, the old man. So, let us 'put to death the deeds of the body, by the Spirt'. Amen

    Trump prayer chain

This is why many Protestants think that the Catholic Church worships Mary: Mary, a dead person, can "get her son to do what he doesn't want to do". The 'son' is Jesus Christ, the Creator of everything, the sovereign God. No, she has no power over God.

    The Mormons Are Coming

Since they are evangelizing, you probably should turn them away from your home. It really is warfare, and they are attacking the Lord when they attempt to convert you at your home. I asked the most recent Jehovah's witness who visited us, to please leave; told him why, and said I'd talk to him...

    Christian Superstition

Sorry, I should have made that clearer. "Thy will be done" is not superstitious. The issue that I think is superstitious is when someone says: Don't say 'Thy will be done', as if they think faith is nullified by that statement, or faith is lost at that point.

    Christian Superstition

One definition: a belief or practice resulting from ignorance, fear of the unknown, trust in magic or chance, or a false conception of causation (if I say or do this rightly, then such and such must happen). Examples: 1. Belief that the Eucharist (bread and wine of Communion) is your God (the...

    The proof of OSAS

You said: "Jesus called people to discipleship, not conversion." From Matthew18. 1.At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” 2. Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, 3. and said, “Assuredly, I say to you...

    Derision

It is not James. It is the Word of God. I do not mean to belittle you, or anyone. I think the Bible is the Word of God, and most Christians think so too. I think the Bible explains our obligation to meet with other Christians, an ecclesia, the Church. I'll stop commenting on your posts.

    Derision

God thinks highly of religion: (from James1) 26. If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless. 27. Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their...

You claim to belong to the Christian religion according to your profile. Me too. Why do you belong to a religion you hate?

    The Mormons Are Coming

From Luke 10: 17. Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.” 18. And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the...

The Work of Faith: Hope of Salvation

No. We are not all children of God. Only believers are the children of God. You left out the verses which show that children of God and sons of God are the same. Also, heirs with Christ. From Romans 8: 14. "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. 15. For you did not...

    The Inquisitions

Was Marcion a heretic? He completely dismissed the "God of the Old Testament", "the wrathful Hebrew God was a separate and lower entity than the all-forgiving God of the New Testament". (from wikipedia) Don't you teach something like that? From "Pope wants to change the Lord's Prayer" on...
