    Who was Job's accuser?

Faith makes no difference to God? But faith does make a difference. Should I post the Scriptures that teach you can't be saved apart from faith in the Lord Jesus? You and mjrhealth are teaching and proclaiming another Jesus.

There is almost zero in here that looks anything like Christ

"You are saved because God see's the law within you, not because it was "nailed to the cross"." The Apostle Paul says believers have "fulfilled the righteous requirement" of the law. I'm guessing that that is what God sees in us. Maybe that's the same as you said.

    Who was Job's accuser?

"...But it seems you don't even believe that He is real, is that your problem?" He is real; through the eyes of faith. You do not need faith, or hope, to follow your Jesus: Romans 8: 20. "For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope...

Wrong Teaching on "God's Sovereignty"=Worst Doctrine in Church today!!

[ A stunted Christian may be one who is simply not a mature believer, still needing "milk" as the Apostle Paul said, even though he should be eating "meat". I actually can't tell about myself, whether I am learning to discern good and evil, but I hope I am. When I see someone like that, who...

Wrong Teaching on "God's Sovereignty"=Worst Doctrine in Church today!!

No, I don't. I really don't know someone's heart. But, if there is such a thing as a "carnal Christian", it would be a professed Christian walking as if they are in the flesh (sinning without repentance).

Wrong Teaching on "God's Sovereignty"=Worst Doctrine in Church today!!

I think you are right. Thanks for the correction. But, Paul may be exaggerating here to emphasize his exhortation. It could be that, even though he is talking to people who claim to be believers, they are acting like unbelievers when they "walk like men". So, carnal may be another word for...

    Who was Job's accuser?

Thanks for your reply. In post #76 you were responding to a quote from Isaiah, you said: "Nothing can make me believe this, because that is not what Jesus has taught me. This to me is just another example of what men thought about God. The fact that they wrote it down as if it's God speaking is...

Wrong Teaching on "God's Sovereignty"=Worst Doctrine in Church today!!

I don't think there are any "carnal christians". A believer no longer has a "carnal mind". His mind serves the Law of God, his flesh serves the law of sin. Unbelievers "are carnal, and have no interest in the things of God." They cannot please God.

    Who was Job's accuser?

I'm saying that you, and Pia, worship a certain god. And I worship a different God.

    Who was Job's accuser?

I am the least "learned" person on these forums. And, yes "you don't know our father" is true. We each believe and worship a different God.

    Who was Job's accuser?

From Isaiah 45: 5. I am the Lord, and there is no other; There is no God besides Me. I will gird you, though you have not known Me, 6. That they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting That there is none besides Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other; 7. I form the light and create...

What does Our Savior consider Idolatry

No. Thanks for the correction. But, the Catholic Church teaches Transubstantiation, Real Presence, so the members should believe what their church teaches. Many do not, I have heard.

What does Our Savior consider Idolatry

The Question: What does Our Savior consider Idolatry? From Psalms 44: 21. If we had forgotten the name of our God, stretched out our hands to another god, 22. Would not God have discovered this, God who knows the secrets of the heart? This is what Catholics do when they celebrate...

Wrong Teaching on "God's Sovereignty"=Worst Doctrine in Church today!!

I was answering your question: "Perhaps you can list a few denominations who do not claim to have superior doctrine."

The Law of Moses Has Not Been Abolished

After 395 posts about the Law of Moses, I think this teaching from Titus chapter 3 is appropriate. (If this forum, and discussion, were taking place in a local church, the Pastor/Elders would have ruled on this dispute) From Titus 3: 9. *But avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions...

The Law of Moses Has Not Been Abolished

The apostle Paul said that he, with the mind, serves the law of God. (in Romans 7) And the flesh serves the law of Sin. He was under law.

Wrong Teaching on "God's Sovereignty"=Worst Doctrine in Church today!!

If you are a part of a local church, wouldn't you be in one of those "30,000 denominations, each claiming superior doctrine to the other." ? I kinda doubt that each one claims superior doctrines. Many churches/denominations/communions have very similar doctrines, with various emphases.
