    Holy Spirit......Christians ?

"..if people prefer to follow men into there graves." But, I thought you that you do follow a man: the man you call Jesus with whom you've interacted face to face, person to person.

    Holy Spirit......Christians ?

The Catholic Church worships an idol in their Eucharist and so "He would have those idols destroyed and/or punish those who.worship idols."

What does Our Savior consider Idolatry

Does the Catholic Church agree with you that the above people, and statues, are worshipped by Protestants? How about your Bishop? Does he say Protestants worship those "created physical objects" like the statues of certain reformers?

The Law of Moses Has Not Been Abolished

The Torah is not the "Law of God". Believers are under the "law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus". Romans 8: 2. "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death." Romans 7: 10. "And the commandment, which was to bring life, I found to bring...

What is wrong with this picture?

Deuteronomy 3: “Then we turned and went up the road to Bashan; and Og king of Bashan came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei. 2. And the Lord said to me, ‘Do not fear him, for I have delivered him and all his people and his land into your hand; you shall do to him as you...

What does Our Savior consider Idolatry

From the CCC: 2112. The first commandment condemns polytheism. It requires man neither to believe in, nor to venerate, other divinities than the one true God. Scripture constantly recalls this rejection of "idols, [of] silver and gold, the work of men's hands. They have mouths, but do not speak...

    a threat to the Life?

Here is your question: "So how is it that the condemned already could be a threat to the Life that is not condemned?" Since you capitalized "life" the assumption should be that you mean a threat to eternal life. So, none of that is a threat to eternal life.

What does Our Savior consider Idolatry

"But those speak of a generation who were just for the first time coming to understand and receive the Holy Spirit and the spirit of Christ living in them. In whom there was wavering and misunderstanding - but that was not the last word." The Word is God-breathed. I might misunderstand it, but...

    Why Are We Here?

2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.

Pick up where we left off

I really appreciate you responding to my post. And I do agree we "are still in a measure carnal" as you said above. But, I'm concerned with how the Apostle Paul thought of himself, after conversion, compared with what he was before conversion. Here's where I'm getting this: Romans 7" 13. "Has...

They get what everyone deserves: the wrath of God.

Pick up where we left off

"...being with Him when our time here as carnal men is finished..." I don't think "carnal men" are believers, and therefore they will die in their sins. Romans 8: 6. "For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7. Because the carnal mind is enmity...

    Unconditional love ?

You said: "the problem with very many believers who have received the gift of the Holy Ghost..." I hope you are not implying that only some believers have received the gift (grace) of the Holy Ghost. All believers have received the gift of the Holy Ghost. Romans 8:8." "So then, those who are...

    Addressing KJV Errors

So, do you know for certain who is a believer and who is only claiming it? I agree that many claim it and some are not, but it seemed like you were saying the mark of a true believer would be that they teach. I thought that teaching the truths of God was a special gift for some believers, not all.

    Addressing KJV Errors

You said: "The character of a true believer is to be able to teach and also be able to be taught." Really? There is no difference between a believer, and a true believer. And, I doubt if every believer is "able to teach".

    End time predictions

I assume you had a Vision; but have you ever considered that you should not have told anyone about it? Are Christians commanded to explain their Visions and dreams? It is really a Prophesy (because you are essentially setting a date for His return), and if it does not come to pass, what...

    Salvation loss. Is it possible?

Amen. But, you ask: "....if one is a believer and has placed their trust in Messiah, why would they waste time worrying about either position?" I'm guessing that each position is attempting to claim that their side better represents God's character.
