So, if a member of your church disagrees with a doctrinal position such as Transubstantiation, but stays and remains a member, then is that person really a member, or just not considered *Catholic* any longer because of their disagreement? That person would not be excommunicated, correct?

Hillary Clinton wants to become a preacher

Is your Pastor/Bishop pro-abortion? I hope not, but Mrs.Clinton actively and publicly promotes Planned Parenthood and "reproductive rights". Induced abortion is the murder of an unborn child and she thinks the government should stay out of that issue. No, the government should protect the...

You are accusing me of accusing you; it's getting complicated here! I don't think I directly accused you. But I will say that I have no need, or desire, to see a person named Jesus. I do not worship a physical object, and hope I never will. Faith alone, in the Word of God is enough.

Is there a difference between a vision, and a real person in front of you claiming to be Jesus and telling you eternal truths? I'm guessing that this man you talked with saw a vision. He pondered that in his heart and I hope he is now born again. But, the other scenario is something else.

"Jesus answered one of my questions in this regard..." Your post may be describing exactly the "spirit" you are communicating with, in your personal interaction (8 times) with the physical man Jesus.

Good post, but you seem to be saying that the people of God, before Jesus came, did not grasp His mercy, grace and love. Would this include someone like Moses?

Thanks for your reply. It may seem as if our discussion is not pertinent to the subject of this thread, but the Catholic Church worships a God they can see and you seem to be worshipping a God you can see also. (8 times you say). Romans 8:18-25 talks about hope being directed at something we...

Hi Pia. Have you ever thought that you are worshipping a God you can see and interact with? (you have just said above that it is impossible to get truth wrong when Jesus is standing right in front of you, which might indicate that you are infallible at times.) I'm questioning how faith enters...

What part of the Bible are you studying?

Luke 17:11-19. 11. "Now it happened as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. 12. Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off. 13. And they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on...

Sheriff, so what happens to a member of the Catholic Church who publicly denies Transubstantiation, and will not repent of that sin? (Do you have a badge?)

I appreciate your reply and apologize for the back-handed attempt to mock your prophesy. I do not say you are a false prophet, but it should be easy to understand how a simple parishioner, such as I, could think that BoL's house should be consumed by fire by now! "I will send out the curse,''...

What part of the Bible are you studying?

Luke 13: 10-17. A woman had a "spirit of infirmity 18 years". Jesus healed her on the Sabbath. She "glorified God". The ruler of the Synagogue objected. Jesus called him a hypocrite. Jesus says the woman, "whom satan has bound" has been "loosed from this bond". Observation: Jesus equates the...
