    The THREE DAYS of Christ.

Okay. Well, I do understand the confusion...days of preparation, evenings and mornings, the day of, the week of feasting, etc., but I don't prescribe to any of those issues. Rather that after all this time (and time being the illusion that it is), it is enough that Christ died and rose the third...

    Trick question? What's your point?

    not necessarily Preterism

Yeah, the name-calling is just a copout excuse. Usually an indication that the person themselves is caught on the ferris wheel of previous interpretations stemming from foretold false teachers....which, go figure, most deny. Alternatively, we should have only cautiously followed the teachings...

Why its important to keep the Sabbath

Your sentiments are good, but it would appear you yourself have made an idol of them, missing the point and the commandment. What is the commandment? Is it not rest--not of one day repeated in the life and times of men, but more importantly, God's rest? Surely, the commandment is not to keep...

Is “Easter” in the original Scriptures?

No, to say so is error. Christ overcame the world. Meaning Christ followers did not take up pagan practices--they ran them down and overtook them. Messy? Maybe. But who is actually in control? God--not men, not false teachers, not pagans, but God. Christ rose again the third day. Celebrate!

Did Jesus rise Good Friday to Easter Sunday Morning according the Bible?

Christ rose again the third day. -- Do you not believe this?

Did Jesus rise Good Friday to Easter Sunday Morning according the Bible?

Your account of history is incomplete. Christians do not celebrate the sun...they alternatively adapted the celebration of Christ's death, burial, and resurrection on those day now referred to as "Easter." As Christ has overcome the world--so have Christians overcome former pagan practices that...

    Happy Easter everyone

Happy Easter (the now Christian celebration of Christ's resurrection from death for the salvation of the world)!
  11. The 3 Days of EASTER.

    The 3 Days of EASTER.

This is Easter weekend, the time Christians now celebrate Jesus going to the cross as an act of self-sacrifice to save the world from sin against God, and his resurrection from the dead, having conquered death. For "three days" Jesus lay dead. He died on Friday, is said to have descended into...

The Francis Scott Keys Bridge [Attack].

The Francis Scott Key Bridge Crash: The Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore is named after the former poet of the same name who wrote—the American national anthem “The Star-Spangled Banner.” He was inspired upon seeing the purposely made extra-large American flag still flying over the fort at...

    Apex of Belief

One should not "except" or chase after "theories." Among the many theories known to humanity, there is only one exception, one that is not a theory.

    Will unbelievers never be saved?

The reference to "context" came up in discussing this thread's topic, making it relevant. If context then is an issue, or even worse, a point of impasse, then clarifying biblical context is important. I have made my case the biblical case established in the scriptures. I am ready to move on.

    Will unbelievers never be saved?

Okay...you're not getting it. David "wrote down a prophetic prayer as inspired by God" out of [out of] his own life context--which then establishes two completely different contexts to draw from. David's own life is one context, and what he prophesized of Jesus is another context. David...

    What is the Great Tribulation?

What tribulation is greater than the tribulation placed upon Christ on the cross? Is there actually anything greater? ...Go ahead, name it, Jesus would like to know what you think is greater.

    God made evil ( proof)

The Bible doesn't say that. It says that God himself is not evil. But you are also off on your idea of God making evil humans. It is humans that had babies and made evil humans. God made 1 good human and created light and darkness. Humans (not God), then leaned into the darkness, got pregnant...

    Will unbelievers never be saved?

I understand your context point. But it would seem that you have yet to acknowledge that David crying out to God in the Psalms holds two completely different contexts, one regarding David alone, and another regarding Jesus. The point of which, is that context is not a hard and fast rule when it...

    Will unbelievers never be saved?

So...you think that because David was crying out to God in his own context, and don't agree that his words in the Psalms are in context as prophecy of Jesus (yet out of David's own life context)...even though the scriptures declare it?
