Why its important to keep the Sabbath

No, no, God has only made manifest what was before the foundation of the world, causing each to walk out their own will, to workout their own salvation. It's not a joke, but the serious evidence of freewill, before the judgement.

    Bridge Collapse

It is you who have and continue to persisted with all manner of name-calling. As for the other thread. Wow, such grudge. But as I don't give my opinion here on the board, I am sure the answer was correct--as from God...in spite of your emotional response.

    Bridge Collapse

You did it again. Now you show that God's part was not "obvious" to you. Now that you have put both feet in your mouth...surely you can come up with more name-calling. Come on, there's more where that came from...dump a little more garbage out into the light!

Why its important to keep the Sabbath

Why do you say "Not at all?" Do you not know that Christ was slain even before the foundation of the world--making all things that are now only made manifest, finished when God first took His rest?

    Bridge Collapse

Besides your criticism, what you have described is an act of coincidence or the predictable shortcomings of men. Which if the world were actually in the hands of men, might have merit. Only it's not. Which begs the question, as to why you have considered God last?

    God = liar

If you found yourself saying the same words and giving similar rationale, as Hitler, or Jeffery Dahmer...would that concern you? It should. ...'Cause your tread title is a near perfect quote of Satan.

    Bridge Collapse

That's all very interesting--and I am sure you have stated it correctly. But I was not referring to engineers being involved in the bridge being built, but rather in it's recent destruction.

Is “Easter” in the original Scriptures?

You gave the evidence against your point--your point which is not the gospel. Matthew 7:21-23 ends with what does not meet the requirements of God, because they are works-based. Which is what you also seem to be advocating. Jesus did it all--that is the gospel, and it is in Him that God is...

    Bridge Collapse

You make a good point. But that is not the "root cause", it just made it simpler to accomplish. It means engineers were likely involved.

    Bridge Collapse

The Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore is named after the former poet of the same name who wrote—the American national anthem “The Star-Spangled Banner.” He was inspired upon seeing the purposely extra-large American flag made for the occasion still flying over the fort at dawn during the war...

Is “Easter” in the original Scriptures?

That is the foretold "lie" that was believed, now responsible for "strong delusion." Unfortunately, those who don't know, don't know what they don't know.

Is “Easter” in the original Scriptures?

You speak as one unguarded and vulnerable, as one relying upon a law, rather than on Christ, in whom "It is finished." Warn those that are perishing, and stop offending these little ones "in Christ."
  13. ScottA

Is “Easter” in the original Scriptures?

Those things are true in this world, but not in Christ. In Christ "It is finished", and that chasm now crossed guarded with flaming swords, lies between the things of this world and those who are His.

Is “Easter” in the original Scriptures?

Don't patronize me while you make things that are not gods out to be gods! It is finished with you, or it's not. Even so, in Christ "It is finished." You speak for yourself.

Is “Easter” in the original Scriptures?

That is not sound reasoning. Is gold not gold regardless of who owns it? Christ has overcome the world.

Is “Easter” in the original Scriptures?

You say "mix pagan gods...", but there is no mix. To "overcome" is not a "mix", but is a takeover or makeover. Not as a continuation of things unchanged, but changed. Is that not the same principle of salvation, or even the new heaven and earth? It is... But then again, many who do not clearly...

Did Jesus rise Good Friday to Easter Sunday Morning according the Bible?

You have not represented verse 8, but in part. Those in Christ do not partake in what is "vain", but rather what is conquered, as we ought to do. Which we do in our reign with Christ. Nothing is unclean, nothing unlawful. This part you have omitted. Paul's comments were to those on the cusp of...

Is “Easter” in the original Scriptures?

Good for the Roman Church for declaring Easter a day of celebrating the resurrection of Christ! Not so good for those who stand back and mock for reasons since overcome.

Is “Easter” in the original Scriptures?

Captured territory, in the Name of the Lord. For He has overcome the world! @Aunty Jane

Is “Easter” in the original Scriptures?

That is all good advice for those seeking God. But for those who are [already] in Christ, it is a warning like saying, "Watch out for that cross!" to Jesus after He rose from the dead. "It is finished." "Nothing is unlawful for me."...these things too should be believed, and taken to heart...
