Does Satan run the world? Or does God?

@Ronald Nolette could the “god of this world” be in reference to how Israel worshiped the Law, and it was the governing force and drive for them, could Israel have been the ha’Satan? The Law to them was what they worshipped, and not Yahavah himself. Making traditions of man, and things of that...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

Then I guess I need to get prepared and be pure, blameless and spotless, patiently waiting and watching for his return. While many people suggest I am wrong, I continue to suggest Jesus was indeed not wrong, and he was not a liar. People have become knocked around by the traditions of man…...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

No it’s something people individually need to seek out for themselves. Whether one does that or not, is not on me, personally. You may continue to do whatever you want to. It’s not that I wouldn’t love for you to understand, it’s gonna take you to consider what’s written in the Bible...

"Faith is believing what you know ain't so" (Mark Twain).

I liked reading “Unknown Stranger” or “mysterious stranger” by mark twain. I read a little bit of his book “about Adam and Eve,” and seen the movie “adventures of Mark Twain.

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

I’m not gonna be able to help you understand. These are things you need to consider for yourself along with Yahavah, to help by the spirit to make sense of the things one’s reads in the Bible. It’s not a cop out to not answer your questions it’s just my answers are gonna go with more questions...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

@Eternally Grateful thank you for sharing the information and questions. If Yahavah and his 40 years of allowing a generation to die off is not significant, to me it is, to which Jesus spoke of that then generation he was standing in. That is why I believe within 40 years he came. What you...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

Do you understand what it means? I would like to hear your explanation. Okay. I’m okay with being seen as a liar and no good, and continue to support the message Jesus spoke of in that day… to that generation which is 40 years. I base it off a verse in numbers. Numbers 32:13 And the Lord’S...

Does Satan run the world? Or does God?

    Hope to hear back.

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

@Eternally Grateful the object of desolation is the uprising of a civil war, or something to that nature (i would have to go back and study to make sure). Roman and Jewish war seems appropriate there, written by Josephus.

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

Why leave out Josephus written content concerning the Roman and Jewish war? It’s significant to the time. You may continue to say no, no, no to me. I’m already set in my own decision. Jesus wouldn’t have lied to those people, to consider them never to be taken or never witness him coming by...

    Herod Slaughtered Babies

Did you even know that before? Something to consider with the Bible is the audience and the time, there are surely written histories on Herod aren’t there? Just not this specific section of time which is recorded by Matthew.

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

When it comes to Revelation it could take a year or two to go through properly. It’s a very Jewish book, written to a specific churches which are warned of the coming quickly of Jesus. So many continue today to believe he is coming for us today in this time because of reasons. 1. The belief...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

I disagree with, but you’re right, I do need to prove it. The question is does Secular history matter to you? And without any documentation of Jesus having been confirmed to return, does that leave your own faith in question; if the things promised by Jesus came to fruition? You continue to...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

You saying these things doesn’t make me believe any different. Just because you suggest them. It just makes Jesus to me be a liar not to come back and get his bride. It seems you ignore my addressing people you could check out, but that is too much work for anyone to do… What is your proof...
  15. MatthewG

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

@Eternally Grateful I don’t find it difficult to believe faithfully that in the day of the destruction of Jerusalem, those who were part of the bride witnessed him, and were taken out from the tribulation they were having. It is promised never to happen again. There is no document saying “Jesus...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

Okay. That is the only difference. If your upset cause I disagree, idk what to say. Either Jesus spoke within 40 years things which would happen did, or did not. Secular writers also wrote about what Jesus spoke of, such as Josephus, Suetonius, Tacitus, and Cassio Dio. Not sure you may be...
  17. MatthewG

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

It’s nothing personal @Eternally Grateful. You are the one who said, Jesus did lie to his disciples. If he lied to them. Why should I even trust Jesus? I disagree with your assessment. It’s okay to disagree. Secular writers also wrote about what Jesus spoke of, such as Josephus, Suetonius...

    Herod Slaughtered Babies

Why is this only in the Bible, and not documented anywhere else in history? Was this true? Did Herod after doing this not have any reports on it? Did he threaten the people to drive fear into them, and got rid of any evidence at that time and it was scrapped from history except for what Matthew...

Bible was never written to you

In those days, within the generation Jesus speaks about, many people did end up lying about Jesus having returned. They were many people who came claiming Christ in that age but it wasn’t the true Christ that was promised to come. Jesus gave these warnings to his apostle to be aware of and to...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

Yes, they are considered the “wicked generation “ to have killed the Son of God. Well that is something you have to address with yourself. As a reader of the Bible, I believe they have come to fruition, in absolute faith.
