Once saved, always saved is a myth.

That’s it. You know I use to really be against the whole idea of sanctification but finally understand it’s done in a daily basis of abiding in Christ to now not desire to go and not pay attention or give no attention to God. Believers receive deliverance from the “old man” becoming a “new...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

The best thing to know is that God loves people. And we should have love and compassion for the lost, and those who are in misunderstanding. If we continue to be rooted in the gospel, and share the joy found in having fellowship with the Father and the Son.

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

I’m not nobody’s judge. People make a decision and choice. Jesus proclaimed it, to his apostles in the parable of the sower. It’s just a fact that people can choose to renounce their faith if they choose to. Sometimes it’s the pressures of the world.

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

No it’s not. It’s just doing what Jesus said to do. Pick up your cross and die daily. Putting God first and allowing the Spirit to work through you. I do no good in my flesh. Only God indwelling by the Holy Spirit within me, does good. This is called giving him the credit of anything done...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

Why would you? @Eternally Grateful, asked. Choice.
  6. MatthewG

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

May you continue to pick up your cross daily. One can be secured in their relationship with Yahavah, there is no doubt in my mind. However one never knows what the end of life may look like, and perhaps why it is better to hang on to the hand of Yeshua, daily to overcome the world by faith. I...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

Hope to hear the rest of your responses, @mailmandan. It’s impossible for me to believe in once saved always saved. Jesus said pick up one’s cross daily… that means day by day, in one’s heart you pick up the cross and rise to new life in the Lord Yeshua.

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

And those who did and gave it up? Can they get to come back? Does it even matter to you because you already settled in your faith? That it’s kind of like, who cares?

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

Well what’s the scripture say about faith without works is dead. ?? If a person favors a rich person over a poor person, how are they having faith which their in the works of “love” show favoritism?
  10. MatthewG

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

you can quote scripture all you want I’m just trying to find and answer by you through the spirit. The scripture is sharp and cuts, I don’t know why you even afforded this statement. God can hardern the heart of a person, by his goodness. God was destroying everything around Pharoh, and he...
  11. MatthewG

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

People can renounce their faith though, tell me you cannot and I’ll believe you. I could renounce my faith today, but by choice I choose not to. It’s not that God is keeping me, it’s me desiring him. Just tell me - no one can ever renounce their faith period, and they will go on to attribute...

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

You can though. To say one cannot, is lying to oneself. It’s a day to day, action.
  13. MatthewG

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

Unless they decide to turn. That’s the caveat. There is no such thing as once saved always saved. “While today is today” don’t hardern your hearts.
  14. MatthewG

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

@mailmandan yep there are unbelievers and believers. It’s obvious. We don’t know why people end up leaving faith… other than they desire other things, besides God. But that doesn’t mean we stop praying for them! Right?
  15. MatthewG

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

Good, but sick today. Slowly recovering. Just enjoying the day at work, if possible.
  16. MatthewG

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

That is a common trope, but doesn’t make it true. Cause you do not know, the experience they had… it makes it just sound like they are less then from my point of view… Perhaps it was a version of Yahavah that is false and untrue… People get lied to in organizations and things like that… ya know?
  17. MatthewG

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

Hey what’s up man, how are you today?
  18. MatthewG

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

Paul only had hope, for people to continue. As he he apostolic rule over the church. He continued to encourage them with admonishment and prayers. You have to explain what is demonstrated. It would be the love of God within a believer. That is all a Yeshuan is. A follower of Christ, in the...
  19. MatthewG

Once saved, always saved is a myth.

@mailmandan it’s about remaining in Christ. It always has an if… if one remains settled. I don’t think Paul would continue to encourage people if it was not possible to become unbelieving, warning and telling the people of the coming of Christ. In that day… Some people can renounce God and...
  20. MatthewG

Does Satan run the world? Or does God?

Psalm 52:12 “If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world and its fullness are mine. This is Yahavah being recorded here. So does the Devil really have control of the world? God says he is the one owns the world. Traditions normally say yes… the devil owns it. Which one is right...
