Warnings to the churches about gaining eternal death

I'm wondering if justbyfaith has forgotten that ... he was breathlessly waiting to see some of these verses. Better get out the trumpets, bloodhounds, shotguns, etc. The justbyfaith has gone AWOL. .

Warnings to the churches about gaining eternal death

The result of God's love for all of mankind is limited by their free will. The result of God's love for His saved sons/daughters is limited by their free will. .

Loving Jesus enough to obey Him ensures salvation

Your above I agree with ... nice going! Initial grace is not saving grace because salvation is a process. .

Warnings to the churches about gaining eternal death

"… you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether (slaves) of sin leading to (eternal) death, or (slaves) of obedience leading to righteousness … so now present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness. For when you were slaves of sin … the end of those things is (eternal) death. …...

Loving Jesus enough to obey Him ensures salvation

Please consider this ... There are many NT verses which explain the hopeless condition of mankind. I believe I have about 30 of them. Satan has blinded the minds of people, etc. Unbelievers can only see the gospel as foolishness, etc. They don't choose to see it as foolishness ... they just...

Loving Jesus enough to obey Him ensures salvation

Tomorrow I'll give you some of the verses.

Loving Jesus enough to obey Him ensures salvation

This is true for many true believers ... but it is NOT true for many eternally-secure believers who believe in OSAS and go along merrily sinning their way to hell. And it also true that there are many NT verses ... which say that one must be obedient to Christ to be saved. The BIG question for...

Loving Jesus enough to obey Him ensures salvation

Thou hast missed part 2 ... 1 John 3:10 as long as one continues to NOT love his fellow believers he continues to not be of God. “Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous … In this the children of God and the children of...

Loving Jesus enough to obey Him ensures salvation

Let us make it clear to everyone by highlighting 3 conditions in blue. Please note that it has nothing to do with just simply "believing". It has nothing to do with grace-only, hyper-grace, easy-grace, easy-believism, etc. These popular doctrines are from the very pits of hell. Do you hear...

Loving Jesus enough to obey Him ensures salvation

This refers to Romans 6 ... AFTER you become born-again, you have a choice to be: -- a slave of sin unto eternal death or -- a slave of obedience unto righteousness Then, you can choose to be: -- a slave of righteousness unto holiness .

Loving Jesus enough to obey Him ensures salvation

Just IMO, no one receiving a free gift is under the control of he giver. MANY who have received the free gift of salvation have NOT wanted to obey God. .

Loving Jesus enough to obey Him ensures salvation

It should be obvious that: -- obedience is NOT a prerequisite for initially being saved -- obedience IS a prerequisite for finally being saved I.E. salvation is a process. .

Loving Jesus enough to obey Him ensures salvation

I was talking in general terms ... all men have free will. Just IMO, not all men have the free will to choose Jesus and His gospel. God must provide a spark of belief/faith. An easy example is Lydia in Acts. .

Loving Jesus enough to obey Him ensures salvation

I'm not sure that the work of the Holy Spirit is 100% successful in transforming the lives of all BACs ... who have free will. Perhaps all of the many warning verses in the NT are there to help ensure that most BACs will make it ... as opposed to the idea that ... the warnings prove some will...

Loving Jesus enough to obey Him ensures salvation

Okay, we understand God's grace ... but what about man's free-will to disobey God, fall from grace, draw back unto perdition, etc.? .

Loving Jesus enough to obey Him ensures salvation

Yes, born-again people also have free-will to do as they please. Last time I checked, they are NOT robots. Yes, the following trilogy is supposed to transform us: -- the indwelling Holy Spirit -- we are new creations -- we have the full Scriptures But, born-again people also have free-will. .

Believers need to understand the Truth

Heads up! … Pastors have several different reasons for NOT telling the sheep what they desperately need to hear. The NT words “belief” and “faith” are very inadequate! Because of what the whole of the NT teaches, it is obvious that one word is completely insufficient to describe what...

Loving Jesus enough to obey Him ensures salvation

Yes, and the answers should be obvious to those who read the NT with an open mind, i.e. a mind which has NOT been deceived with various false doctrines, biases, etc. Trouble is ... most believers do NOT do this, and we have corrupt pastors who have various reasons for NOT telling us the Truth...

Loving Jesus enough to obey Him ensures salvation

“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” (Romans 8:28) These were predestined, called, justified, and glorified (8:29-30). Those who truly love God obey Him by resisting temptations to sin...

NT verses to churches threaten loss of salvation

What is the matter with all of you people? Are you speechless, or what?
