What does God say about EVOLUTION?

I get your fascination with it all...but there is a danger in doing so. I am not saying or assuming it is so with you, but the more we concentrate on the little details of what has been created to show us rather He who created them, there is a possibility of taking our focus off Him who...

What does God say about EVOLUTION?

It doesn't matter. All that matters is what and who we believe.

What does God say about EVOLUTION?

The fact is...that same thing may happen every hundred years when needed for one reason or another and then revert back again, but the researchers may not have even considered it. God knows.

What does God say about EVOLUTION?

One who doubts the image and the created thing...will also doubt the Creator. Don't be so foolish. Instead, ask [Him] how this can be. Which even I can answer: If we believe God, we should know that He has set before us "life and death, blessing and cursing." Which is to say, there is much...

What does God say about EVOLUTION?

We are to be good stewards...but what you have described is beyond the providence of mankind, and is the providence of God. In which case, we should not be overly concerned, or feel guilty, but rather confess our need for Him to oversee all that we find overwhelming in doing our own part, and...

What does God say about EVOLUTION?

Yes--thanks! I thought I should post it: Romans 1:18-32 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For...

The "REAL WORLD" is an Oxymoron...and so is EVOLUTION.

I have not interpreted, but rather it has been interpreted to me, just as is the way that the church of Christ was and is to be built. No the tribulation is not over, but you do not understand what I have been saying. The tribulation is not "over"--but rather "finished", as is the payment for...

God's Personal Name & New World Translation

Jesus repeated "I am" many times, and yes, it is easily explained away or disregarded, unless one is inclined to give ear to the Spirit who gives continuity to it all on that narrow way down through all the ages--even stating at the end of such revelations that the name above every name was not...

What does God say about EVOLUTION?

I get your point. In fact the better speculation of science would have been to do what you just did...that is to recognize the decay factor as the cause of would-be or even necessary adaptations, which does not contradict the word and authority of God who has not speculated, but has said what is...

What does God say about EVOLUTION?

There is a quick and easy bottom line to all this: A person either believes what God has said and tries to understand it all against their own logic and understanding, or they do not believe what God has said, and leaning on their own understanding they turn also to believe the understanding...

What does God say about EVOLUTION?

Oh, and to those scientific "experts", this was what I posted:

Any other Christians in here interested in evolution? I mean genuinely wants to understand it.

Okay...so I started another thread where the other "experts" are also welcome, and where there is no fear of debate: "What does God say about EVOLUTION?"

What does God say about EVOLUTION?

Science is one thing...but we should also "render to God the things that are God's." Matthew 22:21 I'm no expert in science, and yet there are experts and there are experts, just as there are natural and spiritual. God has given us a world of time and dates and a mind to examine it all, and we...

Biden declared the Pandemic is over.

I might actually respect a medical facility posting a sign and new policy, that said something like: "Our office has decided to extend the mask policy from the operating room to waiting room.' But just to keep complying to the ever-changing whims of politicians...naaah.

It seemed you already had. But, hey, don't you want to get anywhere with all this stuff...or did you just want to preach into the well?

Thoughts on this paper? The overestimation of the uneducated when disagreeing with actual experts.

My objection to this sort of thing...well, many things actually. Is the audacity of some with a mere first or second heaven (worldly) understanding of life, acting like they are too good to be told anything more. 'Cause there are experts, and then there are experts...and it is God who sends the...

Thoughts on this paper? The overestimation of the uneducated when disagreeing with actual experts.

It doesn't matter. The so-called experts have been both right and wrong. There is only One who is right, and numbers do not change that. Biblically speaking, the very notion of the wise and the learned and the masses being the more right, is rather a God-made sting and a joke on those who flaunt.

Any other Christians in here interested in evolution? I mean genuinely wants to understand it.

The problem is--you unwittingly asked for a debate. You posted a tread under the name "Christian", but speak against God's word. As for your intentions of limiting your thread to your own terms--you don't get to do that. We are One body...and if you speak against the body, we are not beyond the...

Do you believe Spirit baptism replaces water baptism?

That certainly is taught by many. That, however, is all mere "religion." But all of it only points to that which is not seen by the world, not actually the real thing--but only that which points to the real thing. Likewise, the Temple is not that "real" Temple of stone. For that Temple that is...
