    Dan 7, Rev 13 & 17:3 separate beasts

Okay, let me see if I can break this down for you. The "beast" isn't a person, it's a "league of ten nations". The difference of the prophecies between Daniel are John is that Daniel was given a broad overview and John was given more specific detail. In Daniel 7 four of the seven heads of John's...

One Concept of an Ideal Church

LOL, it's the very essence of Acts 2:42-47 but a little modernized to reflect our times.

    Time no longer.

Possibly, personally I reject preterism on all levels.

    Time no longer.

The 7th angel isn't going to sound before the previous 6 and it's obvious that hasn't happened yet and in your opinion, "time" for what?, Imo, repentance.

    The Bridal Church

I think you meant 19:7 but yes they both speak of the bride, but the bride is never said to be the church, that is assumed on your part. You're getting closer w/ Eph. 2:15 but is Christ going to marry himself? I don't think so. The NJ is a picture of what the unity between the bride and the...

    The Bridal Church

While it is called a discourse, it is a private conversation between Jesus and some of his disciples and it is not the same topic of conversation as 23:36, that particular topic ended w/ vs. 38 (the present and near future ) and while 24:2 which is the only vs. speaking of 70ad in Matt. 24 then...

    ZECHARIAH 14

Dan. 12:1-2..."every one that shall be found written in the book. 2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt." vs. 2 is a true statement but you read into it that both are on the same day, I read it as...

    ZECHARIAH 14

There are a thousand years + between the two and to the dead that would seem like a second. The division of time is in your passages, life first, death second, the word "day" in John has several possible meanings and a 24 hr. day is only one of them, it could mean, age, era, etc. and yes the...

    ZECHARIAH 14

Except, imo, this is speaking of Rev. 20:9. No, a long time doesn't have to follow a short time which could be as short as 3 months. The kings are representative of the various powers that have controlled Israel throughout history, the last one will be the beast empire. After 70ad Rome is pretty...

    The Bridal Church

Typical historicist response that needs to ignore Matt. 24 and that fails to consider that Christ is speaking mostly about the latter questions which is "what are the signs of thy coming and of the end of the world". As with the Matt. 24 account, 'this generation" is dependent on the vs. before...

    ZECHARIAH 14

There's no such thing as a year for a day "principle". When the bible speaks of a case like Dan. 9:24-27, it tells you. It would make no sense seeing as the first 69 yrs. were historically proven as fulfilled w/ the year for a day understanding of 483 yrs. to all of a sudden change the 70th...

    Does the Bible identify "Babylon"?

In the latter days, Rome is practically irrelevant.

    Does the Bible identify "Babylon"?

    vs. 39 - Greece, vs. 40 - Rome, vs. 41-44 - still awaiting fulfillment

    Does the Bible identify "Babylon"?

Sorry but the word "and" is saying they are the fulfillment of both and the mention of the "two" previously confirms that! The verse doesn't add anyone else. If you were to take a poll, I guarantee that over 95% would agree w/ my understanding of what the verse is saying.

A Galilean Wedding & the Second Coming ...

Jesus said that he and the Father are "one" several times. "They" are "one" so there is one God w/ three personalities, so to speak, already married to one wife, but they have been separated for a long time so, imo, the wedding scenario will be more like a renewing of the vows. The sentence...

    Does the Bible identify "Babylon"?

It's doesn't matter what a candlestick "is", it's what a candlestick "does" in this prophecy that is important!

    Does the Bible identify "Babylon"?

Sorry, I don't believe historicism has a leg to stand on.

A Galilean Wedding & the Second Coming ...

I don't deny scripture. Fact, the trinity can not have two different wives. Fact, they are already married to Israel. Fact, although a certificate of divorce was written it was never finalized as Jer. 3:8, 14, 17-18 attests. Fact, the church is never called the bride of Christ in scripture...

    Does the Bible identify "Babylon"?

I'm a shopkeeper and a father, I'm a hobbyist and a shopkeeper. It starts w/ two, the "and" clarifies that they are 'both". A normal, proper reading sees two men, anything else is reading something into the passage that isn't there.
