The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

4 “Then he sent some more servants and said, ‘Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner: My oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.’ 5 “But they paid no attention and went off—one to his field, another to his...

    Calvinism vs. Arminianism

This isn't about salvation either. It's spoken to the diciples. Context, context!

    Calvinism vs. Arminianism

No, the proper interpretation is God creating calamity for rebellious people. The conclusion of the scholars claiming that God is morally ambiguous if he originates both good and evil is irrefutable. Calvinists escape this conclusion only by the mere assertion that it is not so. In their view...

    Calvinism vs. Arminianism

Nope... you are reading it backwards. When does God ever say asking questions is shaking your fist at him? He doesn't. Paul asks why a rebellious Jew talks back to God about God using his rebellion to reach the gentiles. You probably think this verse is about us, don't you? It's not. In fact...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

Matthew 22:14:"but few are chosen." The Greek word for "chosen" is eklektos. How are people “chosen”? 1 Peter 1:1-2 uses the same Greek word and explains that believers are chosen (eklektos) “according to the foreknowledge of God”. Foreknowledge is simply the Greek word proginosko and it means...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

Well of course we have no way to know how many the few are. I believe he is simply saying that he is the narrow way, not that he meant the way is super difficult and we will have to work really hard to enter. But yes, the whole point as far as this discussion is that it's conditional, which...

    Calvinism vs. Arminianism

You don't understand what prevenient grace is then. Because it's going out to all. It frees men to respond or to reject the call... that's all on them. It's not irresistible grace.

    Calvinism vs. Arminianism

You can not pretend Jesus gives light to every man in a theology that says most never receive any light. Loving darkness is a choice. We aren't forced to love darkness. The scripture you quoted indicates that men are to blame for loving darkness. In your theology God gives them no other option.

    Calvinism vs. Arminianism

I'm wrong about where I believe your theology logically leads? So what? I should force myself to believe something I don't believe?

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

The difference is that you apparently think some are chosen to be saved and some are chosen to be the wicked. We get to decide whether we will be " us" or " them"

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

And Us is anyone. And if we can't become "them" then what is the reason for warning us?

    Why Do We Kiss?

Biblically, kissing was a form of greeting, nothing romantic about it. Men kissed each other in greeting, but I don't think they kissed women in greeting. Kissing in the way most do romantically is a physical connection that, lets' face it, is sexual foreplay. I'm not saying you should never...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

The fact that people can find it contradicts Calvinism. That's plain as day. If Calvinism is correct, no one seeks and finds God, he just irresistibly implants faith in them.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

The verse says that whoever can enter through Christ 9I am the gate. If anyone enters through Me, he will be saved. He will come in and go out and find pasture. Why do you want to reduce it to a pre-chosen few? That's something you are adding to scripture because of your own presuppositions.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

That makes no sense. Of course everyone isn't going to be saved, because not everyone responds to God. And he spent a lot of time railing on false teachers to assure that the people knew what to do to be saved and remain saved. The " they" is us if we fall into falsehoods or fail to understand...

LOL I Never Thought That I Would See The Day

I don't think you understand what all that seductive stuff does to men. We don't need the distraction.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

So if I get up in church and say that "God died for all of us." You would conclude I only meant the people in the church?

    Calvinism vs. Arminianism

I never said you believe or think that, I said that's where your theology logically leads. Chill out!
