    Mystery Babylon-Understanding the imagery

I have no leadership role in any church. What has made you so bitter, bbyrd?

None of the ones I know fit your description.

    Mystery Babylon-Understanding the imagery

I have told you before, bbyrd--you really shouldn't try to make a theology out of one or two isolated lines of Scripture. All of Scripture is "God-breathed"--any "contradiction" is illusory and is our misinterpretation done often in ignorance of what the whole of Scripture teaches. You have a...

    Mystery Babylon-Understanding the imagery

I don't know about Coreissue, but I know RCs who are saved--and many of them are getting pretty restless under the regime set up under Vatican II. There are even those who are pressing to cut ties with Rome. I posted a link to one such website.

    Mystery Babylon-Understanding the imagery

No, bbyrd--it is what it says. Matthew 28:18-20---> "Jesus came and told his disciples, 'I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. 19Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations,b baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20Teach these new...

    Mystery Babylon-Understanding the imagery

Being a true follower of Christ is difficult for those who don't have the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit--and many "churchgoers" don't have His indwelling presence. There is a reason why He is called our "Helper". John 1:12 tells us that, all those who believe in Jesus are given the...

    Mystery Babylon-Understanding the imagery

You are maligning missionaries, bbyrd. I know several and I know them to be sincere in their mission to tell the world about Jesus and establish groups of followers (churches) everywhere they go. That is what we were told to do in Matthew, chapter 28.

    Mystery Babylon-Understanding the imagery

Are you regularly attending church, bbyrd? You could meet real Christians there (believe me, there are lots of them) who love the Lord Jesus and the Father. True followers of Christ love all of the Father's children as well.

    Mystery Babylon-Understanding the imagery

I quite understand that I am, like you, a sinner, saved by grace--but that does not entitle us to insult, belittle and behave badly toward others--especially those in the Body. We are called to a higher standard of behavior than those in the world.

    Mystery Babylon-Understanding the imagery

Judas NEVER represents ANY kind of follower of Jesus, bbyrd. Please read the Gospel of John--he is probably the harshest critic of Judas among the Apostles. Jesus WILL be a literal King. He is "King of Kings and Lord of Lords". What will you do with Isaiah's prophecy that the "government...

    Is God evil?

Even the NLT gets it right. It says "I send good times and bad times". This is a statement of God's sovereignty. He does what He wills. Evil is simply the absence of what God has declared to be good--just as darkness is the absence of light.

    Mystery Babylon-Understanding the imagery

There are true followers of Christ, bbyrd and then there are those who pretend to be. It has been so from the beginning of the faith. Judas Iscariot was one of the group constantly around Jesus, yet Jesus understood that Judas was not a believer.

    Mystery Babylon-Understanding the imagery

Yes--the New World Order globalism is an effort underwritten by the Vatican Jesuits. It has been in place for a very long time. Abraham Lincoln was well aware of the schemes of the Jesuits--that they were very dangerous foes.

    Mystery Babylon-Understanding the imagery

I am well-acquainted with that passage of Scripture. Has the Holy Spirit made you the arbiter of what is "true"? It is He who "leads to all truth"--not "Earburner".

    Mystery Babylon-Understanding the imagery

Save it. I've heard it from some RCs like "Bread of Life" already. He tries to bully people as well.

    Mystery Babylon-Understanding the imagery

He was exercising His role as God and judge of all the earth at the time--in His zeal for protecting the holiness of the Temple. You are not Him and have no such mission. All followers of Christ were given the mission of telling the world about Him in thought, word and deed.

    Mystery Babylon-Understanding the imagery

"Living in Jesus" means that you display the fruits of the Holy Spirit: "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control" especially toward brothers and sisters in the faith.

    Mystery Babylon-Understanding the imagery

Tell me--do you think Jesus would approve of your mean-spirited attacks on other Christians? We share "one faith, one Lord one baptism"--that is, if you are really His.

    Mystery Babylon-Understanding the imagery

Yes, Ratzinger (Benedict XVI) definitely had a malignant stare--but so does Bergoglio (Francis I). American Catholics are quite openly restless under the dictates of Vatican II and the current crop in the Vatican, including the Jesuit Pope Francis. Some are even advocating separation of the RC...

    Mystery Babylon-Understanding the imagery

Not sure "Earburner" is an RC because the RCC doctrine is officially amillennial. But he does preach replacement theology, which the RCC does as well. They were the originators--called it "Dominion Theology". He claims to be a "Methodist" but I grew up as a Methodist and still know a lot of...
