Poll: Tattoo artist: if a Christian daughter/son of yours worked as one, would you be supportive?

Lev. 19:28 is all I need to know. Tattoo's, piercing's, etc., are pagan acts! God wanted Israel to be set apart from such. It doesn't just apply to ancient Israel, it applies to any child of God. My children will never have my permission for these things, just the way I see it!

The Knocks of God to a person in life.

If you take Rev. 3:20 in context with the first 3 chapters it is an indictment against the Church. The Church as a whole has rejected Him, Christ is standing outside the Church door trying to get in. As with the remnant of Israel, the true Church is also a remnant. That makes me pay close...

Ark of the Covenant in Heaven?

Also see Heb. 8:5. Forgot this one. All of these replicas represented Christ and what He would do on the Cross to redeem man.

Ark of the Covenant in Heaven?

The Ark made by man and dwelt on this earth was a replica of the original in the tabernacle in heaven. Everything in the temple, all the sacred vessels were a replica of what was in heaven. Heb. 9:23-24. In Rev. the Ark seen is the original. It is the pattern for the earthly Ark.

    The Covenant of Redemption

Yes, His salvation has always been for the Gentiles also. But for Israel to see that the salvation of the Gentiles was to come through the proclamation of Israel, He came only to give salvation to Israel first. You can believe what you like, Netchaplain, but there is no 3rd covenant! The...

    The Covenant of Redemption

Let's go back to the original plan of God to explain. The Calvinists know this but ignore it to create this 3rd covenant. This type of disobedience comes with a price tag! Matt.15:26 "But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs. A Gentile woman...

    The Covenant of Redemption

It's true that Israel as a nation is not in covenant now, they come into the New Covenant at the Second Coming. The remnant of Israel who are in Christ now, they are the olive tree that Paul spoke of in Rom. 11. They are in Covenant with God at this very moment, and we the Church are being...

    The Covenant of Redemption

I'm not familiar with what you believe, Netchaplain, I would assume you are a Calvinist. This 3rd covenant is the invention of Calvinism. It goes back to before the foundation of the world when the Godhead had consultation on the redemptive work that Christ would do. This 3rd covenant is where...

    The Covenant of Redemption

The covenant you're speaking of is the New Covenant in Christ's blood! It is a covenant between God the Father and God the Son. This is the only way it can be an "everlasting covenant" because this covenant is not made with man as the first, this covenant is between God the Father and the Man...

The Purpose Of God For Man

I don't know how to explain it any clearer than I already have. Did God prevent you from the sins you committed before the Holy Spirit tackled you and made Christ known in your heart, and by the Grace of God you surrendered to Him? God didn't violate your moral agency of free will because if...

The Purpose Of God For Man

I certainly don't charge God with sin in any form, and agree with every word you said! But I know that God allows many things to take place in this world that are not His will. He will not violate man's free will! That makes the free will of man of the upmost importance to God.

The Purpose Of God For Man

He didn't cause it to happen, through His foreknowledge He knew what would happen, He allowed it to happen. He didn't have to allow Satan as the instigator but He did, He didn't have to create the "tree of death" but He did. I can't explain it all, Behold. I'm not God. But I do believe Calvin...

The Purpose Of God For Man

One this one I believe Calvin to be correct, as far as "god willed the fall of man." It's ok to disagree, I'm a big boy, I can take the heat.

The Purpose Of God For Man

The predestination that Calvin taught demands no free will of man. His whole point is that man has no choice, it is God that chooses. This I reject with every ounce of my being!

The Purpose Of God For Man

I certainly believe God had good intensions for everything He did. At the same time I also believe He had to teach man the responsibility of free will. I believe God would not accept anything but the free will of man to serve Him. A lesson hard learned but necessary.

The Purpose Of God For Man

God created man in His perfect image, in a perfect environment, with a perfect relationship with that man who was to live in the flesh forever. If you read to the end of Scripture, you will find man has made a 360 and is right back in God's perfect creation, just as Adam was in the beginning...

The Purpose Of God For Man

I certainly agree! Total depravity does not mean man has no free will. Total depravity means that man left on his own will not and cannot seek out God, He must come to them. He does that through the Gospel message, when heard, man has no option but to accept or reject that message. This is...

The Purpose Of God For Man

I think Paul made it clear that man is totally depraved. Rom. 3:10-12 "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that...

What is the rule of faith for Christians?

Apostle is a messenger, one who is sent. Barnabas was called an apostle, he was the messenger of God to the Gentiles, as was Paul. The commission of the original 12 was not carried on, it's not found in Scripture, it's the "traditions of men" that's carried on! Judas was replaced and Mathias...

The Purpose Of God For Man

I agree with almost everything you said, except for the type of free will Adam and Eve possessed in the innocent state of their creation. Calvin admitted that in this state they had the free will to choose between the commandment of their Creator and the lies of Satan. It was the pride of...
