The Power of sin is broken for the one who is born again - Jesus broke it on the Cross. No one deserves salvation. The punishment was met by Jesus. He took the punishment for the Born Again. Yes there is a big stick - but NOT for the born again.

Typically in these discussions the issue of the status of a believer and the condition of a believer get confused. Judgement for the believer is all about eternal reward - not salvation.

Yes this ties in with my offering that the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord indwells those truely born again as recorded in Jer 32:40 as He allows them to stray, but only so far at which time He goes out after them.

So you give no hope for a believer who has fallen in to deception. Paul did in Galatians 5.

Some of the Galatians fell into deception and Paul wrote to them as deceived believers, not unsaved. This is clear from Galatians 5.

Faith is not something we do, it is a gift. Also your theological position needs to account for a prodigal's return.

By Grace you are saved through faith NOT OF YOUR SELF it is a gift of God.

Faith comes from Hearing the Word of Christ It is a gift.

Yes the reference is not to a physical father as the promise was to a seed (Christ) and the relationship is spiritual.
