Paul is delivering his message to wheat and Tares. Tares are receiving some sanctification by being in fellowship. They may then leave completely as many did. The elect are fully saved and sealed with the indwelling Fear of God against disowning Christ.

Those who disown are obviously not elect. The elect do not belong to those who shrink back. The elect are sealed against disowning by His indwelling fear.

Well I have just been led into one - however I read nothing but scripture for over 5 years. I was woken up in the early hours after being out of church for about 7 years - healed of rejection by the Wind of His Spirit and sent back to serve. We will yet see genuine revival in the church.
