Behold, a New Heavens and a New Earth!

Of course you are free to believe what you want however when we do get there, I'm not going to jump to the head table, I'll wait to be invited. It would be embarrassing to be told to move because we aren't who we think we are.

    THE DAUGHTERS OF MEN

Absolutely, Adam was immortal when he was created, as long as he ate of the tree of life. They lost their immortality at the fall but that is why men aged for so long back them. It took time for the eternal DNA to be bred out of them. I don't know how many angels are out there but I believe they...

    THE DAUGHTERS OF MEN

I would estimate that at most, humans may have obtained about (generously) 10% of all the knowledge that is out there. Some things just aren't our business and God doesn't have to report to us every little thing he has done. To think that just because there is no verse to speak of a particular...

    THE DAUGHTERS OF MEN

Common sense is common sense. God gave us brains for a reason. Maybe we should try to use them. There is no explanation of how mathematics works in the bible but by golly we figured it out.

    THE DAUGHTERS OF MEN

All of Christianity is speculation based on faith!

    THE DAUGHTERS OF MEN

And there is no corroborating scripture that says there wasn't. All it says is that Adam was 130 yrs. old when Seth was born. If you want to think that God is a defective creator when he created perfection, go right ahead. Gen. 3:22-24 implies that Adam had eaten of the tree of life but could no...

The Body of Christ vs. The Bride of Christ (pt. 3)

Israel never attained the millennial-like kingdom that was promised to them. They had the opportunity but they blew it. Israel was never the "church" in the NT manner.

    THE DAUGHTERS OF MEN

So you don't see a difference in the world and how things were before the fall in relation to after the fall. When God says it was good, it was GOOD. Adam was made in God's image and the eternal nature is part of that image. If Adam and Eve hadn't eaten of the Tree of the knowledge of good an...

The Body of Christ vs. The Bride of Christ (pt. 3)

You're going to have to show me an example but consider this: 1 Cor. 15:44-50 - "44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. (and there is a natural kingdom and a spiritual kingdom) 45 And so it is written, The first man...

    THE DAUGHTERS OF MEN

Adam was eternal when he was created, there were no ages until the fall. Time began after the fall, so Adam was 130 yrs. old from the time of the fall, not from the time of creation.

    THE DAUGHTERS OF MEN

I never said anything about their being spirits or they would have any contact with earth at all. My point was why believe the four living creatures were pre-Adamic beings and not a unique creation by God for whatever purpose He desired?

The Body of Christ vs. The Bride of Christ (pt. 3)

So all you can see is eternal separation and no unity between the two? It seems odd to me seeing as how unity is one of the main teachings of Paul. I kinda see the new covenant as the whole basis for the new testament. From the book Heb. 8:8-12, I only see vs. 11 remaining unfulfilled, imo, the...

The Body of Christ vs. The Bride of Christ (pt. 3)

I disagree, the book of Rev. is a book that has some symbolism in it like most of the bible does. If all you read is symbolism, you have no chance of understanding the truth. You might as well consider Egyptian hieroglyphics gospel as well.

The Body of Christ vs. The Bride of Christ (pt. 3)

Our concern shouldn't be everyone and everything Israel but for the 144,000+ who will come out of the present anti-Christ nation.

The Body of Christ vs. The Bride of Christ (pt. 1)

In many ways yes. It will be great to see it all finished.
  16. Trekson

The Body of Christ vs. The Bride of Christ (pt. 1)

I can't really argue with that because the only potential bride he was aware of, is Israel.

Hi bbyrd009 - What does wadr mean?

    THE DAUGHTERS OF MEN

Well, I can't say you're wrong because there is no evidence either way, however just because the four living creatures are different from what we know, doesn't mean they were previously earthlings. Personally, I believe the universe is teeming with life and various creations of God that we will...

The Body of Christ vs. The Bride of Christ (pt. 3)

There are a few more scriptures, all in Revelation, that may shed some light on this subject. Rev. 21:2 - I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. Rev. 21:9-10 - One of the seven angels who had the seven...

The Body of Christ v. The Bride of Christ (pt. 2)

Another passage used is found in three of the gospels. Matthew, Mark and Luke, they are all the same. Matt. 9:15 - And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them...
