The Body of Christ vs. The Bride of Christ (pt. 3)

I will highlight how I see things emphasized differently.

    THE DAUGHTERS OF MEN

I believe this explains the verse a little better - "For only I, the Messiah, have come to earth and will return to heaven again." (TLB)

    THE DAUGHTERS OF MEN

The difference is they are presently spirits and will be reunited with their bodies as the church will per 1 Cor. 15:51-52.

    Is the Church in Revelation?

    Each to his own.

    Is the Church in Revelation?

Respectfully, there is no such group. Pre-trib had to create one so they can explain away the obvious presence of the church during the 70th week. BTW, I was pre-trib for 40 yrs. before God opened my eyes.

    Is the Church in Revelation?

They were mentioned in the OP.

    Is the Church in Revelation?

Was the word church the only term used in the NT to describe us? I will show you that it wasn't. This will probably be long as I will be posting several scriptures but not all of them. Some I will just give the reference to. The terms: elect, election, elect's and elected are all used to...

    THE DAUGHTERS OF MEN

I disagree and here's why. 1 Peter 3:18-20 - "Christ also suffered. He died once for the sins of all us guilty sinners although he himself was innocent of any sin at any time, that he might bring us safely home to God. But though his body died, his spirit lived on, 19 and it was in the spirit...

The Body of Christ vs. The Bride of Christ (pt. 3)

I'm not rejecting anything and I could very well be wrong but I think something that seems to be a major source of Christian identity should at least have a simple statement clarifying that fact and not be based upon some random scriptures that dance all around the subject yet never actually...

    THE DAUGHTERS OF MEN

If Adam hadn't eaten of the forbidden fruit, yes, he would still be alive today, however his soul is and in the resurrection he will get his immortal body back. He and Eve were the only ones who had possessed an immortal body, and whether the bible mentions it or not the fact that we all have...

    THE DAUGHTERS OF MEN

And that is exactly who Adam was before the fall. In fact God put Adam in charge of all of the garden. Eden was a heavenly kingdom on Earth.

    THE DAUGHTERS OF MEN

To me, it is speculation that opens the door to faith and faith when built upon leads to revelation. It goes like this...I wonder if God is real? (speculation) I ask my friend what he thinks and he invites me to his church. I hear the salvation message and by faith I accept it as true and pray...

    THE DAUGHTERS OF MEN

Eternal and immortal are the same thing. Only God can put an end to either.

The Sweet and bitter little book of Revelation 10

Hi Naomi, I'm not sure what world you're living in or perhaps you're exercising your faith to the limits but you need to take your mind off of what should be, to what is. I'm not speaking of those whose Christianity is only on the surface and I don't think the "falling away" is talking about the...

    THE DAUGHTERS OF MEN

In some cases you're right, especially things dependent upon faith, however I would say "common" sense is simply stating the obvious. If one doesn't even understand the possibility of the obvious then one just isn't ready yet.

Behold, a New Heavens and a New Earth!

I had in mind Luke 14:8-11.

The Body of Christ vs. The Bride of Christ (pt. 3)

The Promised Land would have been their millennial-like kingdom if they had never waivered.

The Body of Christ vs. The Bride of Christ (pt. 1)

Hi Naomi, Jesus said, "I and the Father are one." I don't think it means they are married to each other. The type of unity we should have with Christ and each other, echoes the unity we should have in a marriage. We don't become one flesh, we unite as cells in a body unite and we divide and...

The Sweet and bitter little book of Revelation 10

Just a little English lesson here - apostacy - from Webster's - " an abandonment of a former allegiance" - "falling away" - (from Strong's) G646 - "defection from truth", "forsake" - Webster's - defection - "to desert a previously espoused belief/cause. What would cause many Christians to deny...
