    Calvinism

You're confusing the issue. Debts are not just paid to creditors. Debts are due society when someone breaks the law. Society doesn't issue credit to be paid back, yet when someone breaks a law, they become a debtor to society. We broke the law of GOD; we were, therefore. debtors to the law, or...

    Calvinism

I'm a bit confused by the concept of Satan receiving payment for something. Mankind was never a debtor to satan, but it was to the law, and by extension to GOD. Satan is only a deceiver, and has no standing or authority except that which he can deceive man to do for him. The ransom was a debt...

POLL: Have all Old Testament prophecies about the earthly kingdoms of Israel and Judah been fulfille

Again, your reasoning is self-contradictory. The Jeremiah prophecy cannot be taken literally because it says Jerusalem will be rebuilt and not be removed again. An earthly Jerusalem will have to be removed, whether by a new earth being created or the new Jerusalem landing on top of it. So an...

POLL: Have all Old Testament prophecies about the earthly kingdoms of Israel and Judah been fulfille

Do you seriously think that an earthly Jerusalem is going to have these attributes? The whole valley where dead bodies and ashes are thrown? These things don't exist anymore. Nor will they. Jeremiah is describing the whole expanse of the city according to his time. It's to be taken figuratively...

    Calvinism

I like short direct answers to short direct questions. I mistrust reasoned elaborations to simple questions, because from my experience people who do that try to make connections with many words that don't really exist. When you know what the truth is, it's simple to explain. A ransom paid to a...

Nice dodge. To whom was the ransom paid?

POLL: Have all Old Testament prophecies about the earthly kingdoms of Israel and Judah been fulfille

Well obviously this can't be referring to any earthly Jerusalem. Jeremiah was looking ahead to the heavenly Jerusalem, even though he didn't know it.

    Calvinism

I intend to. You didn't answer my question: 'What if someone who believes that they are sinful, and believes in penal substitution, through trusting that Jesus blood covers their sinful nature lives a perfect life of faith and doesn't sin?' Would you please?

POLL: Have all Old Testament prophecies about the earthly kingdoms of Israel and Judah been fulfille

Why don't you try presenting your ideas through scripture one at a time instead of just throwing a load of indoctrination at me? Well obviously Isaiah 11:1-5 was fulfilled during Christ's life; Obviously Isaiah 6-9 didn't happen during Judah's existence (Israel was long gone), so those events...

POLL: Have all Old Testament prophecies about the earthly kingdoms of Israel and Judah been fulfille

I laughed out load when I read that. That scenario is a fantasy in your mind.

    Calvinism

ScottAU It seems to me that you are condemning people to hell for little more than an idea that differs from your own. What if someone who believes that they are sinful, and believes in penal substitution, through trusting that Jesus blood covers their sinful nature lives a perfect life of...

POLL: Have all of GOD's promises to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob been fulfilled?

I'm going to start listing the promises to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob so we can see if they've been fulfilled or not. Promises to Abraham In Haran I think we can all agree that this has been fulfilled. Promise to Abraham in Shechem Paul said the seed is Christ: Now to Abraham and his seed...

Would the Real Elijah Please Come Forth!

How about a godly explanation and you look up scripture? John said 'behold the lamb of GOD taking away the sin of the world'. Sin is not yet taken away; our sins are only covered in his blood. The power of sin has been destroyed, but sin is still in our midst. And the high priest is still in...

Would the Real Elijah Please Come Forth!

Oh my... watch how he slices and dices. Ridiculous. Nonsensical. Presumptuous.

    Trinity?

Preposterous. Unmitigated arrogance and a stumbling block to the brethren.

Is the travailing woman which gives birth to a man-child in Revelation 12...

Good question. May be, or may be the kingdom of GOD born on one day at Pentecost when the disciples were baptized into one body by the holy spirit. I tend to think Isaiah is the latter and Revelation is referring to something else. Jury's still out on this one.

Would the Real Elijah Please Come Forth!

No, the lamb is not the spirit. He is the lamb of GOD. The spirit of GOD is the seven lamps and the seven eyes. Angelina, he sure is condescending isn't he? What does BB stand for?

Would the Real Elijah Please Come Forth!

He took it from the father, and sat down in his throne.

Would the Real Elijah Please Come Forth!

That was before he took the scroll and then sat in the throne of GOD. If you're trying to advance the idea that Jesus is one of the two witnesses, it's preposterous. The two witnesses stand before the lord of the earth. The father is not the lord of the earth, Jesus is.

Would the Real Elijah Please Come Forth!

No one is standing. Jesus is seated in the throne of GOD interceding on our behalf. A Psalm of David. YHWH said unto my Lord [Jesus], Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. Psalms 110:1
