Chapter and verse please. Why would I think Genisis was an allegory? Lots of history happens in Genisis that is very important to our understanding of Jesus. If it's just a story then why would I think Jesus whole life might not be just an allegorical story also?

Following this logic, anyone in Jesus' line who obeyed God, from Adam onward deserves some kind of honor, but not to be lauded as a perfect person who never died, which is a total fairy tale.
