The Eternal Security Heresy: A Comprehensive Refutation of OSAS

Again this is Eisegesis ..the process of interpreting text in such a way as to introduce one's own presuppositions, agendas or biases. It is commonly referred to as reading into the text. Show me where the text says they were never saved.

    Mary, Queen of Heaven

"So Bathsheba went to King Solomon, to speak to him on behalf of Adonijah. And the king rose to meet her, and bowed down to her; then he sat on his throne, and had a seat [throne] brought for the king's mother; and she sat on his right.”(1Kg 2:19)" Making this about Mary is just a terrible...

    Mary, Queen of Heaven

No it's just radically unbiblical... Patching verses together to have nothing to do with Mary, to come to a false conclusion.

    Would Jesus Support MAGA?

If that means make America Godly again, then yes.

The Eternal Security Heresy: A Comprehensive Refutation of OSAS

Why should we listen to any Scripture you post or talk about, when you ignore the ones you don't want to be true?

The Eternal Security Heresy: A Comprehensive Refutation of OSAS

The initial joy is a fruit of salvation. It says nothing about whether there is fruit, you are just adding stuff.

The Eternal Security Heresy: A Comprehensive Refutation of OSAS

Yes where does it say they were not saved?

The Eternal Security Heresy: A Comprehensive Refutation of OSAS

Uh huh. But born again people also back slide, and then regain ground. They are different than they would have been, but they still fall short in many ways. The whole reason we need those verses is because we are still badly broken. And I have never attended a church that didn't teach we should...

The Eternal Security Heresy: A Comprehensive Refutation of OSAS

Yes they fell away. You can't fall away from somewhere you never were. Do it's silly to say they were never saved.

The Eternal Security Heresy: A Comprehensive Refutation of OSAS

Nope and neither do Catholics. Even though they may claim to.

The Eternal Security Heresy: A Comprehensive Refutation of OSAS

You don't even know what my version is. It's not that everything is literal. There's plenty of figurative language in scripture. Jesus isn't actually a door or a gate. He's not saying we should literally hack our hand off if it causes us to stumble. But he did literally die and come back.

The Eternal Security Heresy: A Comprehensive Refutation of OSAS

They say exactly that. How else can one interpret leaving the faith? If it's impossible it would not have to be warned against.

The Eternal Security Heresy: A Comprehensive Refutation of OSAS

Really? It's not the position of the majority? Perhaps if you add all the cults to the mix, but it's certainly the historical position. Let us act accordingly to that which is written (for the Holy Spirit saith, “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom)....Look carefully into the Scriptures...

The Eternal Security Heresy: A Comprehensive Refutation of OSAS

Like I said before, if you don't believe all the Bible is inspired, you can make up any doctrine you want.. and all you seem to have is a lot of " maybe". Not anything there that offers any hope of salvation.

The Eternal Security Heresy: A Comprehensive Refutation of OSAS

"But the one who perseveres to the end will be saved." Matthew 24:13 Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, 1 Timothy 4:1 "Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil...

The Eternal Security Heresy: A Comprehensive Refutation of OSAS

Ok so let's just take one: "but now do ye also put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, railing, shameful speaking out of your mouth." Let's say a person who has been saved for 30 years still sometimes gets angry or speaks in ways he should not. Does this disqualify him for the kingdom?

The Eternal Security Heresy: A Comprehensive Refutation of OSAS

Well eternal life is conditional on continued belief. That doesn't exclude grace at all....

The Eternal Security Heresy: A Comprehensive Refutation of OSAS

Not at all. And I don't actually believe in once saved always saved. I also don't just blindly believe everything that any pastor says. It's one thing to post scripture... it's another to explain what you think holiness looks like. I don't think church attendance has anything to do with...

The Eternal Security Heresy: A Comprehensive Refutation of OSAS

Whether Jesus was bodily resurrected. Jesus was always divine. That's basic Christianity 101. To believe otherwise is heresy.
