    Who was Job's accuser?

Evidently it doesn't for you and that is fine. We are just swapping opinions, right?

    Who was Job's accuser?

Because I know of no other instance in scripture or history where a snake conversed with man.

    Is Temptation Evil?

Good lesson here, we know Job was credited with righteous by grace through faith in God, (as all the saved are) but we can also see he sinned and repented. There are two sides of this good news story, when we only see the one side we miss half of the story.

    Who was Job's accuser?

Some of you guys are doing a great job of hinting around at who satan is, so I will add my two cents. I believe satan is a metaphor for mans fleshly nature. Like someone here said, "the only one I know of who has ever accused or deceived me is myself or some other human. PS: I don't think there...

Charles Spurgeon's Sanity Litmus Test (are you insane?)

An interdependent relationship is where both partners are mutually reliant on each other. It is a safe bond where partners can rely on each other but also maintain their autonomous identity.

Charles Spurgeon's Sanity Litmus Test (are you insane?)

A codependent relationship involves one person supporting another person’s unhealthy needs. One person acts as an enabler to another person’s poor health, immaturity, under-achievement, or addiction. The enabler is preoccupied with the needs of the other person and fails to satisfy their own...

    Calling all Law Keepers.

I notice you left out all the scripture where Jesus unquestionably refers to Himself as God, which shows you are unwilling to consider both sides. No human body can contain the totality of God. Christ (GOD WITH US) is Gods solution for us. PRAISE HIM!

    Calling all Law Keepers.

It seems obvious to me that Jesus had a sin nature but He overcame it, not just for Himself but for us also, if we have faith in Him. Thank you Jesus!

Thank you, I will do he same for you.

I suppose you mean doctrinal atmosphere:)

    Calling all Law Keepers.

I think even though many do not understand how faith and works correlate they do have faith in God.

No. No. No, the problem is equating flesh and blood with sin, it is not. Sin is when the flesh actually does something sinful.

    Calling all Law Keepers.

Heb 2:14 Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, The problem is, thinking of sin nature as a sin, it is not.

    Calling all Law Keepers.

It seems to me that common sense would indicate if anyone has a fleshly body they would have a fleshly nature, especially since it is not a sin. This fleshly nature was Spiritually done away with when Christ died and was resurrected the same as ours will be when we are resurrected but for now...

    Calling all Law Keepers.

When the Lord teaches you something, it doesn't matter if anyone agrees with you. right? Because I have found that it is better to try to lead someone to the truth than to just spoon feed them. I will give you another hint, that tree is still with us as well as the other tree and many are still...

    Calling all Law Keepers.

No problem, you have the company of 99.9% of the christian world. Like I said it has little or nothing to do with our salvation. You never did take a crack at what the tree of knowledge of good and evil and it's fruit is. PS: I looked up this scripture: Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create...

    Calling all Law Keepers.

YOU agreed sin nature is not a sin and then try to say it is a sin if God did it. Sorry you cannot have it both ways. I am not answerable to traditional Christianity, as you seem to be, only the Lord. I got it from the scripture. Yes you did, whether you realize it or not. Pity, you were doing...

Yes. What metaphorical tree will cause us to die? Hint:What does the word fruit in the scripture refer to many times?
  19. jimd

    Calling all Law Keepers.

Surely you do not mean a baby that dies is lost do you? Please explain to me how a baby has faith. They were promised immortality if they ate from the tree you identified as Christ but they lost it when they ate from the wrong tree just as we are. Yes, they were flesh, right? They did disobey...

    Calling all Law Keepers.

I believe he knows both. Don't let the funny images fool you... However, yes. the Tree of Life is Jesus. Yes! Then what tree if we eat from/try to live by, without eating from the tree of life, will bring us death? This one is a little more difficult to understand, at least it was for me.
