If you found you were in the wrong faith, would you change?

Any Christian organization/movement should be focused on being pro-Christ. Focused on welcoming all to Christ, bringing good things to the table, and uplifting all. In contrast, the “anti-cult” movement is focused on bringing people down, attacking others, denying persons love of Christ...

If you found you were in the wrong faith, would you change?

I would STRONGLY advice stating far far far away from Walter Martian and the “anti-cult” movement.

Jesus left us with the assignment to make disciples,

(Taking a DEEP breath of self-control here. And then another dozen plus). Please don't comment on my beliefs: you know nothing about them. And frankly, I've never met a JW who remotely cares beyond wether or not I follow the WatchTower (though they phrase it as "follow the Bible"). I'm fed...

    Questions For JW's

I have no patience for this. Your heart is combative. You wish to pick a fight and “prove” that you are right. You don’t want to learn or be respectful, just prove that you are right. That is crystal clear. This has no productive purpose.

    Questions For JW's

No. I’m actually strongly opposed to JW beleifs. But picking a fight is not a productive way or teaching/learning, or changing hearts.

Jesus left us with the assignment to make disciples,

You just spent over a week chatting with a “Mormon”: me. It’s a night & day different faith than JW. If you ever want to chat more, feel free to give me a shout out. But I’m not interested in JW recruitment or scripture ping pong.

Submission Of The Wife: How Serious A Matter Is It?

The word “submission” has been soiled by too many people whom have used it too justify all manner of abuse and unrighteous dominion. I’d recomm me avoiding those words in general and focus specifically on your one example under the title “seeking advice” or something. I’ll respond to your...

If you found you were in the wrong faith, would you change?

Maybe one day you’ll be willing to see the fact that I already do. :) Have a great afternoon.

If you found you were in the wrong faith, would you change?

I"m NOT interested in scripture dueling you Robert. I stated that quite clearly. No means no. I acknowledge and celebrate your individual faith, and I hope to see you in the hereafter even through the theological difference. I have zero interest in joining the abusive wolf that is the...

John 1:1 EXPOSING the JWs LIES

Needless to say we understand Christ’s actions very differently. Have a nice day.

John 1:1 EXPOSING the JWs LIES

I’m not saying a thing about you accepting JW beleifs. Your beliefs are in no way in danger here. As to sharing what you believe to be true with others: remember Paul’s words.

John 1:1 EXPOSING the JWs LIES

How truth is shared matters a ton. To paraphrase Paul, you can speak all man of goodness with the tongue of angels, but if you don’t do so lovingly, it amounts to nothing. This type of approach doesn’t show love, but instead is just fighting. It doesn’t bring anyone closer to Christ.

    What do you think............

I very much agree with that spiritual gifts continue today. They are of God for His work. God has not stopped being a God of miracles. I also believe in preachers, teachers, etc. In contrast to you, I do also believe that prophets continue today, that also being part of unchanging God.

If you found you were in the wrong faith, would you change?

Your honesty is once again admired. Also the fact that you actually talk with me, versus talking at me or going off on unrelated tangents. I can tell the thought in your posts. You're the first JW I've talked with that displays these qualities, and I've talked to a LOT of JW. I spent months...

If you found you were in the wrong faith, would you change?

Having studied in many different churches, I strongly disagree with you here. A person's faith is that relationship they have with God: that person + God. The denomination is the label on the set of pews they set on. That label neither saves nor damns you. And two people literally sitting...

If you found you were in the wrong faith, would you change?

I hear you say that. And I’ve also heard you say death threats multiple times this thread alone. Going back to the title question of this thread: if you found JW was the wrong faith, that the Watchtower twisted the Bible, would you be afraid? (Non-hypothetical) Are you willing to see the love...

If you found you were in the wrong faith, would you change?

I don’t think you’re being rude at all- in fact I totally acknowledge that your actions are motivated out of wanting to save me- the fear of my death. That’s very clear. However, I believe that obedience to God should be done out of love, not fear. Obedience prompted by fear is product of an...

If you found you were in the wrong faith, would you change?

@Robert Gwin , I appreciated the self-honesty you displayed earlier. That's a big thing. I'll return honesty directly here. I've studied dozens of different faiths, Christian and non. It's not because I'm searching for God (I got to scripture & prayer for that), but to better understand...
