Proof: You were only forgiven of your past sins!

You are directly contradicting John who said several times in 1 John that the believers he was writing to do indeed sin! I thought all believers knew that fact.

Proof: You were only forgiven of your past sins!

At the moment you were born-again … you were only forgiven of the sins you had committed up to that point in time! “For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his OLD sins. Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your...

The churches are in dire need of understanding this!

3 times in John 14, Jesus said: "If you love Me, obey My commandments." Why do you think I know which ones He's talking about? FYI, He gave many dozens of them in the 4 gospels.

The churches are in dire need of understanding this!

Yes, please read Revelation 3:21. Jesus overcame the world, sin, and the devil. We are called to also.

The churches are in dire need of understanding this!

Jesus said, "If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." (John 8?) IMO, He meant that if you are a new creation, you have been set free from being a slave of sin. Paul teaches this ... the new creation is no longer a slave of sin. Thus, the born-again believer is now able to overcome the...

The churches are in dire need of understanding this!

Sin’s Power Is Broken – is the heading for Romans 6 (New Living Translation) 6 so that sin might lose its power in our lives 6 we are no longer slaves to sin 7 we were set free from the power of sin 10 he died once to break the power of sin 11 consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin...

The churches are in dire need of understanding this!

Evidently, you are not aware that most "believers" in American churches today are involved in habitually sinning (i.e. without repentance, obviously). Which cave# are you living in now, I forget.

The churches are in dire need of understanding this!

Now, as we are entering into the end times, the time is short indeed for believers to become true believers … by starting to obey Jesus’ commandments! Please also see my first thread, “Here’s the most critical question for you” The Holy Spirit, God’s angels, and Satan’s angels (demons) can all...

Here’s the most critical question for you

Here are some additional comments on 6 of the NT passages in the OP … “If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed rather than having two hands and go to hell” (Mark 9:43) Does Jesus go overboard in trying to express the incredible seriousness...

Here’s the most critical question for you

I am here simply to WARN those believers who are deeply involved in habitual sin ... that they are NOT going to heaven unless they sincerely repent and get their acts together! The churches are NOT warning about this, so I am. Jesus came to set believers FREE ... they no longer have to sin! If...

Here’s the most critical question for you

I suppose your pastor should not presume to know your spiritual condition either.

Here’s the most critical question for you

I have no idea. Do I have to understand everything? Who can really understand the Trinity? However, the Lord God Almighty can do whatever He pleases. He created us ... and He owns us! If He chooses to unsave someone, that's His prerogative. Just accept the 30 NT verses in the OP. And if you...

Here’s the most critical question for you

OSAS = Once saved, always saved. P.S. You're in terrible shape spiritually. It's time to get with God's program. You can start by reading the OP. OP = Original Post

Here’s the most critical question for you

Sorry ScottA, you really need to show WHY the NT verses in the OP do not apply to you! I suggest that it is necessary for believers to: RECONCILE all of the NT verses ... i.e. RECONCILE the so-called OSAS NT verses with the anti-OSAS NT verses!

Here’s the most critical question for you

Great, start interpreting! I.E. Please show why my interpretation of all those verses is incorrect.

Here’s the most critical question for you

Sorry, it's impossible to link to my MS-Word file on my computer. And no, I didn't copy it on here. Is it really that far beyond the realm of possibility that ... the info in the OP is my own.

Here’s the most critical question for you

Dost thou understand that people who have been deceived believe falsehoods? IOW, where you stand isn't the important thing, right? WHY do you reject the dire warnings of the NT verses in the OP?

Here’s the most critical question for you

Hi GG, I'm mildly contemplating a Part 2 ... with 30 more NT verses. What say you ... are you up for it?

Here’s the most critical question for you

Please tell me why NT passages such as these do NOT apply to you? “… wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to (eternal) destruction … narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to (eternal) life, and there are few who find it.” (Matthew 7:13-14) The truth of...

7 MORE of the very best warnings given to the churches

Sorry, but IMO, you are unteachable.
