Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

That film and all context around it is Butchered and edited to bare false witness rather than talk about actual beliefs. If you want me to explain any part of my/others beliefs, just ask. It begins & ends with Christ. I'm just not bothering to respond to other folks whom blatantly aren't...

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

Why are you saying “thank you” for bad information?
  3. J

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

Yep, it’s a total secret that only Walter Martin & disciples can tell you about and let you know the truth. It’s a great thing he’s here to tell me what I really believe. ^Dripping sarcasm.

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

I do 100% agree that a person's primary focus should be following Christ, not man. Organized religion is not inherently a bad thing- it should be a very good thing actually (having people together to support each other). Any person helping guide another should ultimately be pointing that...

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

I'm not sure which point here you want me to reply to.

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

Nobody follows what Truth7t7 is proclaiming against. It's a huge strawman "anti-cultist" love to mock. Versus being accurate and addressing actual beliefs, thinking for themselves, and reaching to those they perceive as sinners. The "anti-cult" is itself a group that focuses on following...

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

I literally just corrected several of these points, and was blatantly ignored to instead have you mindlessly parrot the same false information again. If I were to correct the other points, undoubtedly the same would occur. Great job mindlessly following Walter Martin & his disciples - he...

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

100% always divine, always with the Father, always one with the Father (John 1, John 17, etc).

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

David, the information Truth7t7 is copy/pasting here is grossly inaccurate. To touch on just 2 points: Members of the Church of Jesus Christ 100% believe in the Bible, and Jesus Christ therein. Jesus Christ has always existed, in the 100% divine and only Son of God. The only Savior of the...

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

I haven't been following the conversation here lately, but will 100% say amen to this for every person. We all go through these cycles. The Refiner's fire is not a one-time thing, but a lifelong+ journey.

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

    More copy-pasted strawman.
  12. J

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

    ^Lovely strawman.

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

Nothing feared here :) I’m also very pro treating people with love and encouraging them to come to Christ. Versus attacking other. But I’m sure that’s been conveyed

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

Searching past posts on my phone doesn’t really work, unfortunately. I know many different Christians whom has what I find to be downright anti-scriptural beliefs. That doesn’t make them a “cultist “, it makes them sinners whom fall short of the glory of God. We all have much yet to learn.

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

David, when you mock “Mormon” beliefs, or say “Mormons are cultists “, such is done against me (a “Mormon”).
  16. J

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

And honestly I find Walter Martin to be such a draw-away person. Hence my urging. Instead, look for yourself, follow Christ yourself. If you have some reason to ask about another person then ask that person themselves. Follow the 2 great commandments.
  17. J

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

With all possible respect, I find that “anti-cult” rhetoric is not focused on Christ or following His words, but instead on attacking others and yields rotten fruit.

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

Marin & Co take a few non-scriptural quotes, strip them of all context, make up the straw man, and popularize it. I totally get disagreeing with others on theological points— that happens. But let’s disagree on actual differences and strive to respectfully love each other along the way.

Silly question, but a thought provoking one:

You've just summed up one "anti-cult" strawman. Now actual beliefs of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints: a disciple of Christ ultimately (after final judgment, finished sanctification, etc) becomes a joint-heir with Him, inheriting all that the Father has. We become like Him /...
