    Understanding the Trinity.

That’s fine- I actually agree with that. The Creeds go more in depth than that though.

    Understanding the Trinity.

Hi, long time no chat! I am aware of that, and that if I ask “but what does that mean”, folks struggle to answer. I acknowledge their right to believe as they do (obviously), but this isn’t a specific belief I can sign my name to or agree that passing this theology test is essential for salvation.

    Christians living de facto relationships

The mortal man isn't making anything. You actually standing out in public and formally declaring your commitment to each other, God, and everyone else makes a marriage. Ideally in a church setting, bring in that spiritual component. The building itself, the mortal man, the paperwork, etc are...

    Christians living de facto relationships

Ideally, marriage should be done at church, with the blessing of the church and state. It doesn’t have to be fancy, and I would argue that fanciness is often is a huge distraction. Yes, it is important to actually say “I do” and make a formal commitment to each other and God. Not just have...

"IF I BE LIFTED UP FROM THE EARTH" - Denominationalism, Congregationalism, And Pluralism

Honestly I’m not even sure where to start with it, and anticipate just being blown off.

I PASSIONATELY disagree with you here on very point here.

"IF I BE LIFTED UP FROM THE EARTH" - Denominationalism, Congregationalism, And Pluralism

I’m very much a fan of studying- amen to that!

"IF I BE LIFTED UP FROM THE EARTH" - Denominationalism, Congregationalism, And Pluralism

Again, I find your actions here to be hypocritical and sinful, focused not on having people follow Christ but follow the Church of Amigo. I know you’re not going to change, but I will state that.

    Perverted Gospel

People are wicked flawed sinners. They get things wrong. Some get it wrong because they hear what they want to hear. Other strive to follow the best with full intent, but we all still fall short. For me, a big thing is that we (individually and collectively) need continual guidance directly...

    Understanding the Trinity.

It's your Creed, not mine. What do you believe is meant by "In the unity of the Godhead there be three persons, of one substance"? And why is this so important to you?

    Understanding the Trinity.

I don’t find Scripture saying anything about “substance “ of God so I cannot agree with that statement. Hence I cannot ratify the Athanasian Creed nor WCF. I am curious of that when I encounter people whom do believe in some degree of theological test is required.

    Understanding the Trinity.

<emphasis above is mine> @Lifelong_sinner , I have a question for you. I full heartedly believe that the Father, Son, and Spirit are 3 distinct persons in 1 God. Each of them has always existed, is all powerful, all good, all merciful, all just, etc. But after much study, I do not believe...

"IF I BE LIFTED UP FROM THE EARTH" - Denominationalism, Congregationalism, And Pluralism

Amigo, I'll be direct here. I love you passion for Christ. That is totally awesome. However, I see you frequently rant about other beliefs/persons. As a "Mormon", I'm a regular target of those rants and they are very inaccurate. I love Christ, though of course I do not sit in the same pew...

"IF I BE LIFTED UP FROM THE EARTH" - Denominationalism, Congregationalism, And Pluralism

I recommend starting the conversation by asking a person about their love of Christ & listening to their answer :)

    Why was there a reformation?

I said that there are many beliefs. That is different than saying there are many Gospels- obviously there is only 1 Gospel. However, because humans are sinners, they are always going to have different beliefs, yes with many bad docterines thrown in there. There’s no point in bemoaning that- it...

"IF I BE LIFTED UP FROM THE EARTH" - Denominationalism, Congregationalism, And Pluralism

So does how we treat each other. Many people whom “are defending the Biblical truth” are in reality just being clanging cymbals (Cor. 13:1).

    Why was there a reformation?

When somebody says “no thank you”, and you keep pushing the matter anyways, that’s not sharing. That’s spamming.

    Why was there a reformation?

There are many different beliefs because there are many different persons in the world. We aren’t clones. And there will forever continue to be thus, even if we were to live in a theocracy where all other views were visablly suppressed ( which would just hide the other views).
