    Justified by Works

When you say that true Christians always forgive (to try to rescue your hide from the tanning Scripture is giving your false conclusions), you're stating that Christians don't sin.

I've blocked Eternally Grateful, as I'd found it far too problematic to discuss anything with him, so I wouldn't be aware of what he says (though I wouldn't be surprised if he'd misunderstood me as you apparently have).

What is a "true Christian"? Someone who has true faith? The guy in the parable had true faith, because the righteousness of faith is defined as being forgiven (Ro 4:6-8). Again, you're saying Christ is a liar, that the Father will NEVER do this to us, never remove our forgiveness--sorry...

You can't quote me saying believers are both "under grace" and "under law"--I don't believe that, and I reject that idea--so it didn't happen. Don't falsely accuse me.

True Christians never sin--they never fail to forgive? What happened to the Corinthians, then? They were living in sin!

    Justified by Works

LOL So Jesus is lying? Why did He say "God will do this to you" instead of saying, "Don't worry, God will never do this to you"? Why did He even tell the parable in that case?

    Justified by Works

Show me where I ever said believers were both "under grace" and "under law"--quote it to me. I deny that that is the case, and I deny that I ever said it--I don't believe it, so why would I say it?

...again, more "deflection" : what happens to the person who has been forgiven but who does not forgive? Does the forgiveness remain or is it ultimately rescinded? And how did he get the forgiveness in the first place? By the righteousness of faith which says "blessed is the man whose sins God...

You've completely misunderstood and misrepresented me--not surprising, since we all see you also misunderstand Scripture.

    Justified by Works

Again, empty assertions--no substantiations of the claims. Good evening.

I've already told you (and I've learned you need to hear the same answers over and over and over and over) : the parable of the unforgiving servant shows that a person can be forgiven of all their sins, yet, afterward, because of their behavior (not forgiving), can have the forgiveness...

Your "answers" were all debunked--you're free to answer my answers.

    Justified by Works

Anyway, answer Matthew 18 (not Matthew 25 about "talents").
  14. GracePeace

    Justified by Works

Please show me where you've addressed it. I remember you saying something about "talents", which is not Matthew 18, but Matthew 25. Try again.
  15. GracePeace

    Justified by Works

You have a convenient theology that is nowhere reflected in Scripture. LOL
  16. GracePeace

    Justified by Works

Can you answer Matthew 18 instead of slandering me for challenging you?
  17. GracePeace

    Justified by Works

I would not subscribe to the distinction of the Catholics based on Romans 14 (our discussion), because ANY THING AT ALL that does not proceed from faith is sin and leads to the sinner's condemnation--no distinction between eating food or observing a day and murder or adultery.

    Justified by Works

There is an assertion that the dialogue is "strained", but there is no substantiation of the assertion.
  19. GracePeace

    Justified by Works

    1. Nope, I've never deflected. 2. I answered with precision--God's Law. I disagree : Christ says, explicitly, "So My heavenly Father will do TO YOU if you do not forgive". I take Christ at His Word, not just when it is convenient to my theology. This leads to greater understanding and the...

    1. I have deflected nothing at all. 2. Quit "deflecting", to use your terms, and answer Matthew 18.
