In Heaven, you are safe. Nothing can come to where you are, in Heaven. (at peace?)

Hi there, So this is just a simple thought: we are safe in Heaven. The Bible says that the anti-christ will blaspheme those who dwell in Heaven, and its easy to think he knows what he is doing: but he doesn't. The anti-christ does not know what is in Heaven. So if you are in Heaven, you just...

    QUOTE for the day

"It is your responsibility to stay in faith, until you grow." (selah)

The Devil is trying to choke my faith; the Devil says "you're not allowed to believe, unless you have from the start" (its making me mad!)

I think the point is, is that treating all sins as though they are the same sin, is an anti-christ. Some sins are worse than others, we must learn to be discerning about what is able to tempt us. Forgive me, yes, but don't keep forgiving me, even when my sin is unchanging!

It's your responsibility to stay in faith, until you grow. Fidelity, grows the soul. (growing?)

Hi there, So something that really helped me, a lot, when I realised it, was that it is our responsibility to remain in faith, until we grow. This is a delegation of talent, that God has given us, to be patient and expectant. If we are patient, our faith will remain alive to us; if we are...

The Devil is trying to choke my faith; the Devil says "you're not allowed to believe, unless you have from the start" (its making me mad!)

Thanks guys, you've been a great help. I came to the realisation that I am trying to sever my past, from my testimony - that is, I am trying to create a testimony that has no negatives (from the past). But God embraces the negatives! I am always going to have past sin, the point is to...

The Devil is trying to choke my faith; the Devil says "you're not allowed to believe, unless you have from the start" (its making me mad!)

Hi there, So I have been through the whole back sliding thing and come to the conclusion that I both need a second wind and greater grace from God - and this is where the Devil hits me: the Devil says "no, you have become backsliding, there is no more hope for you" and "no God does not want to...

    Joel Osteen is extraordinarily amazing!

Even before someone complains, let me just say that I think the Lord, likes his style of preaching. He loves the Lord and shows you what you can do with your faith, which is better than just assuming it is all just going to come to you - you have a responsibility to remain in faith, until your...

Hydration is key, to spiritual balance (thirsty?)

Hi there! So remember what Jesus said, when He was on the Cross? "I thirst". Quenching thirst, in our coming to the Cross, is crucial to our walk with Christ. If we do not quench our spiritual thirst, we are unbalanced, unfocussed, unsettled. These things come to us, if our focus on the Cross...

A mature Christian, makes work a priority (selah). Discuss.

Indeed a mature Christian, makes work a priority for life, Lord willing.

Is Jungian Psychology compatible with Christianity?

Even if you are against the scripture, you may be resurrected as an object of condemnation.

Here's a likeable thread: Name something you like about a denomination (of Church) other than your own! (really, anything)

I don't know if the Catholic Church being so huge is a good thing, but I like that they break up into little parishes.

Jesus said "the day is coming when you will worship in spirit and in truth", if you can be beheaded for faith in truth, you can be in spirit (yes?)

If we follow what Jesus said in Revelation about the Lukewarm Church, beheadings will be hot or cold, too! This is important, because we are not beheaded - either spiritually, or in truth - without character. Character defines our experience of Heaven, so it is crucial to how we are rewarded...

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

Part of the faith of EGs, is simply hanging on. If you have a God given level of integrity, and are able to respond to pressure, hanging on to hope that your response will be enough ensures that your offspring have hope. Your offspring having hope, in turn inspires greater response to pressure...

Sugar coating hell - the bitter pill

Jesus was not just God, He was God "crucified". The importance of this, as regards Hell, is that the experience of Hell, is not just Hell + experience of torment, Jesus is ready to exchange that torment. If Jesus is ready to exchange the torment, then the torment has an end. The point is if all...

Even at the end: Churches gonna be hot, churches gonna be cold - some will predict it, some not?

Churches will be hot and cold, throughout your life, it makes sense to give it some attention!

    Am I An Adulterer?

Unless your first was unfaithful, then yes, it is adultery. It's not the end though, you can commit to spending the rest of your life with your new spouse, and in a sense be forgiven. The point is changing relationships is not cost free, and should be avoided to the letter of the law.

Even at the end: Churches gonna be hot, churches gonna be cold - some will predict it, some not?

It makes sense to want to be doubly cold, not just cold for the sake of it.

What was Jesus going to do, before He became focused on saving us (from sin)?

But then again I have another question (perhaps betraying my ignorance, but forgive me): is there anything God would rather have me doing, than helping Jesus save people? Building up a charity trust fund? Painting works of nature? These things are still good, but are not directly the will of God?

What was Jesus going to do, before He became focused on saving us (from sin)?

I think what I am asking maybe an anti-christ. It suggests that God started time, before He considered His Son's potential and then gave that potential after the fact, among other things. Instead, Jesus was ready to save us, before our being formed had come to pass. This is because faith is not...

    Alien Righteousness?

Thanks for pointing out my error. Perhaps you could summarise the video, to avoid confusion?
