I very much welcome any help on figuring out why/how you take my comment about “never betraying” to mean “suggest betrayal “. I do find this frustrating

I joined because I enjoy chatting with other people whom love Christ. Some people here I really get along with. Some people like to engage in certain conversations/methods that I don't, so I duck out of those.

This forum welcomes all whom claim Christ. There's a very wide variety of beliefs on here. Many people are here just to prove their point, some like the fellowship primarily, etc.

Because this communication thing is being frustrating for you, as well as for me. I don't know how you go from me saying "never betray" to thinking that "Jesus can betray me". But you clearly go there, resulting in frustration for the both of us.

I'll break this down and go step by step. Bob is Joe's son. Bob loves Joe and knows that Joe will never betray him. Even they're not literally beside each other. That make sense? Are you following me?

Vast vast majority of Christians believe that Christ and the Father are two different persons. Christ doesn't pray to Himself, pat himself on the back during his baptism, etc. They're two different persons in one God.

That's one interpretation of the relationship of the Father/Son/Spirit, but many Christians hold a different interpretation(s). I can't address your query for you, because I don't hold that particular interpretation.

Let's try to avoid getting caught up in word-games. You have this relationship with your partner: you love them, you know they're never going to betray you, etc. Correct? Christ likewise has a relationship with His Father: loving, knowing there'll never be betrayal, etc.

And what word would you use to describe that relationship (where you don't believe the partner you love could betray you)? That's a great word to use to describe the relationship between the Father and Christ. (Note: you are asking really good questions on your other posts too, but to address...

Do you love your spouse and trust them, even when you're not literally by their side? Yes. Likewise Christ loves and trusts the Father, even when he's not literally by the Father's side.

The question you asked is actually a really good example of this.

Faith/love in a family member/spouse is the best starting point a person has in understanding faith/love in God.

You know your spouse, and have human-level faith in them? Even when you’re not literally right beside them?

The two aren’t mutually exclusive. Christ did believe in the Father, and have knowledge of Him.
