Who is she? And why do you think she's a tare?

How many have ever changed their minds...

It's the first version I read as a child (though I didn't understand much of it) and I read a few others before I actually believed the gospel. I was actually quite upset when I picked up a Gideon's bible and found Jehovah written instead of LORD (as well as other minor differences). I thought...

God choose Trump to Save the USA from Destruction.

No argument there and if he were elected I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he were to succumb to some sudden illness promoting his running mate.

Faith-based tattoo: as a result of one, did you ever talk with someone? (Poll included)

Well, I was glad that he clung to Jesus, sad that he was in the state that he was in. He wasn't exactly panhandling, but as a type of testimony I'm not sure that his situation spoke to God's provision.

Probably because we already know that there will be a resurrection, actually 2 of them, so what would be the point?

Off your medications? I didn't say anything about anybody, but made a comment regarding the source of doctrine denying the truth of scripture. God schools me in scripture and I'm pretty sure that He knows what he's talking about. However, if the shoe fits...

God choose Trump to Save the USA from Destruction.

All authority comes from God whether for good or evil and history is full of people foolish enough to Fight against God's choice. Even the American revolution was a rebellion against legitimate authority (even if the kingdom of England was ruled by a madman as our history books suggest)...

Thank you for your wisdom, but you seem to have missed some very important points in scripture, not explicitly stated, but shown through example: Signs are for unbelievers and scoffers. The works of Jesus were signs fulfilling scripture as the described works of God and His anointed/holy one and...

I get it, there are a lot of churches that have names that they are alive, but are dead. There are centuries of false doctrines introduced by free masons into the traditional protestant churches as well as over a millennia of strange doctrines introduced by the Roman Catholic church. The devil...

How many have ever changed their minds...

I've heard of the word of faith movement, but have no direct knowledge of any doctrines they support or works they claim. My own background was originally in Roman Catholicism (which I rejected at the age of 13 because of nonbiblical teaching). Born again through the ministry of a former...

You may contact the father, Dr. Richard Steenland and ask him if you like. He's an anesthesiologist and was working at Jersey Shore Medical center at the time in Monmouth county, New Jersey. I haven't spoken with him in over a decade but he used to reside in Spring Lake, New Jersey. There's a...

So when the elders of a church gathered around the pregnant wife of one of the teachers, laid their hands (in comfort) upon the parents and prayed for them, for the healing of a hole in the septum between ventricles, and the next sonogram showed a normal functioning heart, this was just happy...

While you mention some cultists that claimed apostolic gifts I must assume that you've never heard or accepted anecdotal stories of missionaries who observed sudden and miraculous recoveries and other similar "signs" in their presence while sharing the gospel? I was in the habit of listening to...

How many have ever changed their minds...

Not to nitpick but the word "apostle" actually only means " sent one" and at least some translations use a capital A as in Apostle to distinguish the original 12 from the rest. No Apostle ever did those things, God did them as signs to display his power through them, but you do know that...

How many have ever changed their minds...

"Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” I see no point in arguing for the truth of God's word, His word needs no defense. His promises are irrevocable, His character does not change, His word is eternal and true, but His adversary casts doubt.

How many have ever changed their minds...

The question is why do you think that? Is it because God has shown you in scripture that He would stop building His church in the power of the Holy Spirit? Or did you hear it as doctrine introduced by the adversary of God, to undermine faith in God's word and reduce the church to apostasy?

Transitional to what? A faithless, powerless church?

How many have ever changed their minds...

I've seen manifestations of some of the gifts in church assemblies that were neither Pentecostal or charismatic and while it seemed reasonable to me that God, who does not change, would enable His children for ministry according to His promises, it did take the congregations somewhat by...

How many have ever changed their minds...

Just curious, but where in scripture do you find "apostolic gifts?" I've read at least 9 different translations of the Canon ( as well as a version of the apocrypha ) starting with the KJV and ending with the Complete Jewish Bible and I can't recall ever reading about apostolic gifts. I'm...
