    The true grace of God.

from Hebrews 10:26-31 It appears to me that <username not disposed in this thread> and a few others here, do deny the true grace of God; calling it a FALSE and PERVERTED gospel. What is the true grace of God according to scripture? 1Pe 5:10, But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto...

    Hebrews 10:26-31

It appears to me that @Blood Bought 1953, and a few others here, do deny the true grace of God; calling it a FALSE and PERVERTED gospel. What is the true grace of God according to scripture? 1Pe 5:10, But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after...

Repentance is the Gift Of God !

Of course repentance is a choice made by man. Your theology defies common sense.

Heaven and Earth Shall Pass Away

You certainly have my interest. How did heaven and earth pass away in 70 A.D.?

    Hebrews 10:26-31

Correct. The judgment of God's children has to do with wood, hay, and stubble being consumed by the fire and gold, silver, and precious gems enduring through the fire to become a reward for the believer. Even in John 5:24 (kjv), the one who is judged shall not come into condemnation. But that...

Repentance is the Gift Of God !

Thank you for agreeing with me. Repentance is a choice made by man; wherein man makes a 180-degree turn away from sin and towards righteousness. God cannot make that choice for you. You have to make it yourself.

    Hebrews 10:26-31

The fact remains that they will be placed into judgment; for we must all stand before the judgment seat of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:10).

I answered post #672; but you don't accept the answer.

What is : The Meat of the word

1Jo 3:7, Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 1Jo 3:3, And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. 1Jo 2:6, He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he...

What is : The Meat of the word

Not. In quoting that verse, I was actually pointing out that this verse speaks of you and what you do on this forum. For you claim that your theology is Pauline to the core. However, because of this, you are the most likely to wrest the scriptures because Peter said that this is what people...

    Hebrews 10:26-31

Another question: is it even possible to walk uprightly without the Holy Spirit? It seems to me that even the Old Testament prophets had the Spirit of Christ (1 Peter 1:11). So, Zechariah and Elizabeth may have been included among the Old Testament prophets in that they may have had the Spirit...

    Hebrews 10:26-31

Do you think that the word of the Lord did evil to Cornelius, Zechariah, and Elizabeth? Because apparently they were righteous, but did not have the Holy Spirit. But they walked uprightly; and therefore I believe that the word of the Lord did good to them. Are you still going to contend that...

    Hebrews 10:26-31

I believe that he is saying that he will both: 1) be judged to be a sheep or goat; and, 2) be a judge of whether others are sheep or goats, if he is judged to be a sheep. I am pretty certain that he believes he will be judged as being a sheep rather than a goat.

    Hebrews 10:26-31

John 5:24 in the version that you have it translated in is in contradiction to 2 Corinthians 5:10. There is no contradiction to other scriptures when you read it in the kjv, however. Jhn 5:24, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath...

    Hebrews 10:26-31

So, the question is....did the word of God do good or evil to Zechariah and Elizabeth? I would contend that it did good to them because they were righteous (Micah 2:7). If indeed they did not have the Holy Spirit, the word of the Lord did good to them even though they did not have the Holy...

    Hebrews 10:26-31

That is an interesting thought. Do you have chapter and verse for that? (other than Cornelius?)

A Christian who deny Jesus is God in Flesh

This has already been answered. God the Father, who is an eternal Spirit dwelling in eternity, in descending out of eternity to become a Man, did not vacate eternity. For it is the nature of eternity that if anyone dwells in it as an eternal being, they are there eternally.

What is : The Meat of the word

2Pe 3:15, And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 2Pe 3:16, As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood...

    Hebrews 10:26-31

Obviously...those who have the Holy Spirit are counted righteous by the Lord.
