    Jesus isn't Catholic

No, you haven't adequately addressed it as far as I'm concerned...at least, not to the point where you have been able to convince me of your pov. Note what I said to you: "You have to deal with the word everlasting and what it means if you are going to make your point. From your pov, Jesus...

    Tithing Or 2 Corinthians chs 8 & 9 - which is right?

In Hebrews 7, it becomes clear that Melchizedec is a priest that was tithed to, and that Jesus Himself was high priest according to the order of Melchizedec. So then, his priesthood of believers, being priests according to the order of Melchizedec, can receive the tithe. I would say that...

    Tithing Or 2 Corinthians chs 8 & 9 - which is right?

Or, perhaps none of them are right.

    Edward Fudge: Hero Or Heretic?

Notice that that Jesus was speaking of the temple of His body when he said, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up."

    Tithing Or 2 Corinthians chs 8 & 9 - which is right?

I would contend that they have been blessed...just, perhaps not materially/financially (see Ephesians 1:3).

    Edward Fudge: Hero Or Heretic?

I just want it point out that the last Adam became a quickening spirit in Luke 23:46...

    Tithing Or 2 Corinthians chs 8 & 9 - which is right?

You would be wrong in that belief (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

    Jesus isn't Catholic

Nope. You haven't answered my contention in the slightest. You have to deal with the word everlasting and what it means if you are going to make your point. From your pov, Jesus said something like this, in John 6:47... "Verily, verily, I say to you, He who believeth on me hath everlasting...

Jesus is God in the Flesh!!

It is my contention that he was the Father from all eternity; and that the Person of the Son was begotten in the incarnation. For Jesus, as the Son, is defined as the Son because of the hypostatic union. He is the Son because He is come in human flesh.

Christians and the Law of Moses

That's a good point; but Jesus is God. So if He was doing God's work, He was dong His work.

    Jesus isn't Catholic

I think that you need to address my contention about what it means to have everlasting life (for this is my response to your contention about epignosis)... If the life that is given ever comes to an end, it was never everlasting, but can only, from the getgo, be defined as temporal. Therefore...

    Jesus isn't Catholic

However, bad fruit is a sure sign of a false prophet. False prophets cannot go very long without exhibiting some kind of bad fruit eventually. And therefore, if someone consistently bears good fruit over a long period of time, it can be determined by this that they are true. For Jesus did...

    Jesus isn't Catholic

I would suggest paying attention to the Holy Spirit's teaching on the matter. If you have a relationship with Him through His word, you can always check with Him as to whether any teaching is faitfhul. I wouldn't put too much stock in a Ph.D. Even those who have them can indeed be...

    Tithing Or 2 Corinthians chs 8 & 9 - which is right?

Abraham tithed to Melchizedec; and this predated the law. The new priesthood is according to the order of Melchizedec; and tithing is still a part.

Christians and the Law of Moses

The sabbath law required that man not do any work on the sabbath. In order to heal people according to His love, He had to work; and in doing this on the sabbath, He violated the letter of the sabbath laws.

    Tithing Or 2 Corinthians chs 8 & 9 - which is right?

I believe that Malachi 3:10 is profitable for doctrine, for correction, for reproof, and for instruction in righteousness.

Do You know about Jesus or do You know Jesus as Your Lord and Savior??

I have listened to Jesse Duplantis (per the link) on a few occasions and I find that he doesn't sow the word of the Lord but really only does a comedy routine most of the time and tickles the ears of his parishioners. I wanted to be fed the word one night and tuned into his program; and all I...

    Tithing Or 2 Corinthians chs 8 & 9 - which is right?

In Malachi 3:10 we have a promise associated with tithing that the Lord will open the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing that you will not be able to receive. Giving that 10% apprehends the promise spoken of in Malachi 3:10. Of course you can give more or less...if you sow...

Christians and the Law of Moses

Of course...the change in law spoken of in Hebrews 7:12 is that it was changed from being bound to the letter to being obedient to the spirit, of what is written.
