    Grace vs Legalism

If you say that you have no indwelling sin, you are not born again (1 John 1:8).

My God My God why has Thou forsaken Me ?

Jesus said that just as Jonah was in the belly of the whale for three days and three nights, so Jesus would be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights. And why did Jesus cry out, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani if He was not forsaken by the Father? Did Jesus go crazy right...

    Grace vs Legalism

Okay; since you have given me the invitation to do so, I will do so (not being a fool in the preaching of it, however): It is clear from holy scripture that we all have indwelling sin. In 1 John 1:8, the apostle John includes himself in the bunch of people who would be deceiving themselves...

    Grace vs Legalism

Yes, Jesus does; but I think we will have to agree to disagree on whether or not there is power in the blood.

    Grace vs Legalism

We can at least know that the blood of Jesus both justifies (Romans 5:9) and sanctifies (Hebrews 13:12, Hebrews 10:29, 1 John 1:7). It has the power to do these things. Get it?

What is the point that we should judge someone as being a false teacher?

People who speak Greek today when referring to Easter refer to it as pascha. Therefore it is not a bad translation as it is written in the kjv. Thanks for reminding me of what the word is, I had forgotten it.

    Grace vs Legalism

Yes....it has the power to set men free from the practice of (or committing of) sin. (it does not eradicate indwelling sin (1 John 1:8)).

What is the point that we should judge someone as being a false teacher?

How did they know what day it was? Was it not the commemoration of Jesus rising from the dead? Translating it as "Easter" in the verse in question is not taking it beyond its bounds. Because Jesus rose from the dead just at the end of Passover; and I would venture to say that peter was not...

What is the point that we should judge someone as being a false teacher?

The kjv says Easter; and it is not a bad translation (it is also scripture).

You also have to ignore the scriptures that I have set forth in support of my pov for the rest of your life.

    Kenosis heresy

Huh? it is exactly the opposite.
  14. J

    Kenosis heresy

I am preaching the Trinity here. If you will never stop being a Tritheist, and this is your avowed stance, then there is not much hope for you. Even the creeds show forth that if someone rejects the Trinity for Tritheism, they will be lost in eternity.

    Kenosis heresy

It is actually the opposite. If the Father is the only one who knows it, and the Son doesn't, then the Son isn't Omniscient.

    Kenosis heresy

Jesus is the Lord in your estimation correct? if He is not, then you don't have the Holy Ghost (1 Corinthians 12:3 (kjv)). Now there is one Lord (Ephesians 4:5), even the Father (Matthew 11:25, Luke 10:21). This same one Lord is the Lord of heaven and earth, even Jesus (1 Corinthians 8:6)...

I have added nothing to holy scripture.

    What does it say?

What is the point that we should judge someone as being a false teacher?

If the members of the Trinity are equally separate, each of them being God, that is three Gods (Tritheism). To have a true Trinity in your belief, you would have to believe in one God (distinct Persons within the Trinity, rather than separate). As such, you would not be able to say that the...

Yes, the Father as He dwells in human flesh is not Omniscient. Did you look up the verse (Mark 13:32)?
