The Relationship Between Israel and the Church

Where do trees get their nutrients from? What strengthens them by giving them a stable base to grow? Psalm 52:8 states, "But I am like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God; I trust in the loving devotion of God forever and ever." The olive tree here represents the enduring nature of...

This is the context of how Dan. 9:24-27 should be considered!

No one is saying it didn't happen but 70ad was the beginning of most end times prophecies not the end.

The Relationship Between Israel and the Church

Christ isn't the tree, Israel is, Christ is the "root". Rom. 11:16 - "For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches". This is similar to where it is pointed out that Christ isn't the foundation, He is the chief cornerstone, which the rest of...

The Relationship Between Israel and the Church

The rapture/resurrection is for the church, the 2nd coming is for Israel.

This is the context of how Dan. 9:24-27 should be considered!

I'm not, But Lk. 21:21 is a stand-alone prophecy that doesn't line up w/ the other two gospel accounts. The question becomes based on which interpretation lines up w/ the 'whole" of prophecy and not just a couple of segments.

    No, I'm not pretrib, I'm post-persecution.

I don't know what your opinions of my posts are. Good, I hope.

Rapture Thoughts of Some Early Church Leaders

Sometime 'after" the middle of the week, but well before Armageddon.

Rapture Thoughts of Some Early Church Leaders

Get you facts straight, "not" post trib, post-persecution. When the a/c is "revealed" is when there will be no doubt because by the time he is revealed, is when he sits in the Temple of God. By this time the 70th week (the trib) is at least half over.

This is the context of how Dan. 9:24-27 should be considered!

Nope, but biblical history proves that history usually repeats it self. These can be called either "near and far" fulfillments, or a 'type" which is an event that mimics what the actual fulfillment would like. One good example is Antiochus setting up the image of Zeus in the temple, is a 'type"...

Rapture Thoughts of Some Early Church Leaders

Rev. 14 is a flash forward to the start of the millennium when one realizes the 144,000 aren't in heaven, they are on earth. Rev. 14:13-16 is another possible view of the post-persecution rapture. Post trib implies, because of the inaccuracy of the name, post 70th week and I don't believe that...

Rapture Thoughts of Some Early Church Leaders

Rev. 7:9-14, Matt. 24:29-31, Rev. 12:17, Rev. 13:7-10. But of course, understanding these is to know that there is no such group as 'trib" saints. They are all the "still here church". Pre-trib wants the 144,000 to preach to the world where the result will be a great revival, something the bible...

Rapture Thoughts of Some Early Church Leaders

I know it very well and reject it as a 'false" doctrine.

The Relationship Between Israel and the Church

They aren't unbiblical opinions, there are just too many scriptures to list, but you reject everything dealing w/ the OT so why bother.

This is the context of how Dan. 9:24-27 should be considered!

Well, in a way you're right but history only confirms Lk. 21:20, 22, 24. These three verses aren't similar to anything else in the other two gospel accounts. The AoD never happened in 70ad. Do you believe Matt. 23:39 occurred in 70ad as well? "For I say unto you, Ye (Israel) shall not see me...

Sorry dude, but that is insane. No resurrected in Christ will ever rebel against Christ (and die again!!!) and the amount of living people after the millennium will probably be close to what the earth has now.

This is the context of how Dan. 9:24-27 should be considered!

Yes, there are over 200,000 of them presently and they will flee again as Israel is where the a/c will be and where the AoD will occur.

Rapture Thoughts of Some Early Church Leaders

Of all the rapture theories out there, pretrib has the least scriptural context to it, barely any as a matter of fact and I used to be pretrib.
  19. Trekson

This is the context of how Dan. 9:24-27 should be considered!

The 70th week never began. Christ was cut off on the last day of the 69th week. Dan. 9:24 is for Israel to accomplish, not Christ although he laid the foundation for national Israel to complete them when they will, on a national level, accept Christ as Lord and savior. What was finished was...
