    What Need I of Grace?

Good thing it's not our righteousness that matters. Being in Christ is definitely being more righteous than the Pharisees were.

    What Need I of Grace?

I grew up in the Holy rollers type of church. I'm not knocking them, but none of those who claim to be filled by the Spirit are sinless. They do tend to be less honest about thier sins. I'm not concerned about denominations either. I have no reason to judge whether Luther was a real Christian...

    Passover vs Eucharist

I'm not concerned at all about how much the wine was fermented. It's a non issue. The point is, it's not literal blood.

    What Need I of Grace?

Well if you believe I have to be sinless to be saved, how can you call me brother? I don't think you really believe that. You are most likely a product of a Wesley influenced church, and Wesley was reformed Protestant, in spite of disagreeing with some reformed doctrine. So, you are indirectly a...

    Passover vs Eucharist

What's the difference between grape juice and wine? Just a little aging. In fact, a lot of what they called wine was probably not hardly even fermented. Now I'm confused. You say Jesus used wine, but you just said it was blood. I know what blood tastes like. Grape juice isn't blood. Wine isn't...

    What Need I of Grace?

How can I break a law that I'm not subject to?

    Passover vs Eucharist

We all know it's grape juice and bread. I'm pretty sure the disciples knew it was wine and bread too. Meat and blood have a far different taste. We do it in remembrance of him, just as he said. Are you trying to tell me that you think literal transubstantiation actually takes place?

    What Need I of Grace?

I don't need to. I'm not Jewish, and I'm not under the law. " For when I tried to keep the law, it condemned me. So I died to the law—I stopped trying to meet all its requirements—so that I might live for God."

    Saved Or Predestined ???

No we all are condemned for our sin, not for Adams and I already said that Adams fall was the start of everyone sinning. That's not the same as being condemned for someone else's sin.

    Saved Or Predestined ???

Ah, the old two wills of God argument! How predictable. Joh Piper fan, perhaps? God cannot ordain sin and be a Holy God. Obviously, when you say they acted freely, you mean something other than the normal definition of free. If an all powerful being ordained that I sin, can I choose some other...

    Saved Or Predestined ???

"ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye. shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh. findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." Everyone, not only some. Salvation is of God, but contingent on men believing...

    Saved Or Predestined ???

Again, what are you trying to say? If they were born unable to respond to God, he would have nothing to give up on, because he never tried to reach them. Of course, they are in a worse situation if they became unredeemable, but they put themselves in that situation. Actually, God hardening...

    Saved Or Predestined ???

I'm condemned because of Adam's sin? No, I'm not. What the original sin did was to cause the human race to fall into the practice of sin. "Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned-- (Romans 5:12)...

    What Need I of Grace?

You don't obey the law, so quit pretending.

    What Need I of Grace?

I'm not a gnostic and I never said you have liscence to sin. Please quit putting words in my mouth. You are not sinless, so get over yourself.

    Passover vs Eucharist

Of course I take communion. I don't drink real blood or eat real flesh however.

    What Need I of Grace?

We are under grace, as I just quoted.

    What Need I of Grace?

Never said it was permission to sin, but you are disagreeing with Paul, not me. We all sin, BTW, especially those who think they don't.

    What Need I of Grace?

If we knowingly commit sin, we should of course, repent. The question here is whether that sin condemns us to hell. We are not saved by not sinning. We are saved by Christ's blood. If we are relying on being sinless for our salvation, we are still under the law and cannot be saved. Relying on...

    Saved Or Predestined ???

Yes, but it did leave them to die through no fault of Thier own. It condemned them to be useless although they were no more deserving of being condemned than the chosen. They aren't able to do anything but die, so it's the gardener who is to blame if they aren't made useful.
